  1. Rooms appliance only allows connection to RingCentral meetings. This is a major inconvenience in the event that we need to join a video meeting from a different provider such as Teams, Webex, or ZOOM.

    Please find a way to allow Rooms appliance to connect to other meetings and not just Call in.

  2. Polycom Trio C60 can be used as a microphone and speaker for RingCentral Rooms. It would be better if we could use it as a controller as well.

  7. Synchronize DND setting across App and Desk Phones so that if someone sets DND on their desk phones it shows up on all other users desk phones that they have DND on. At present it only shows up in the App if you set DND in the App, and dos not show on desk phones.

  8. Add a phone number area to the team area so that the contact can be sent a text instead of an email. I have over a 100 clients that I would like to use this area to send them a text message on the 15th of each month instead of emails because most of these people are over sixty, some are from different countries and don't know how to use email. These names should not go into the "All Company Contacts" area, each team should be separate. Please contact me if I can help to make this clearer.

  10. RingCentral Video Rooms should allow you to use an iPad as a Controller and another one as Scheduling Display. The iPad for Scheduling Display can be placed on a wall outside the conference room, which will let the attendees view the room's schedule and availability, as well as reserve the room.

With Rooms connecting being concurrent, the customer would like to restrict who has access to having the xxxxxxxxx@sip.rcv.com showing up in the invite and accepting rooms so that some groups of people do not occupy licenses needed by C-Suite.Alternatively, have the ability to reserve the connector licenses.

  12. Since Rooms Connector licenses are concurrent, customers need the ability to run reports on peak usage of those licenses. In addition, the customer should be able to set up an alert the moment that all licenses are occupied.

When a Calendar service becomes unauthorized, for example when an OAuth2.0 token expires, administrators are not notified.If admins were able to be notified via email, this would allow them to proactively reauthorize the calendar service. This would help avoid a situation where users enter a room expecting to be able to join meetings from a calendar.

  14. Teams, Zoom and Webex all support Barco Clickshare Devices, because RingCentral Rooms does not currently support the Clickshare device, users are unable to pass the clickshare around the room and reshare content.

  15. "Access code accepted. Please enter your participate ID followed by pound, otherwise just press pound to continue." Those 17 words / 29 syllables need to go away. Please provide separate call-in numbers for “RingCentral Rooms” admins and guest. My guest gets confused and report that it doesn’t work because they don’t have a participate ID. There are no participant IDs for guest, it just confuses them. Please simplify the “RingCentral Rooms” and give admins a separate call-in number. This would be a great opportunity to improve the product. Please help!!!

  16. The old RC meetings rooms had great airplay compatibility. Our employees use it daily in our conference rooms. We are unable to roll out the new RC Video Rooms since airplay is NOT an option yet. PLEASE add it for the next release. Thanks

  17. The recent update for the Ipad Rooms Controller, Version RCM Room Versions: 21.3 (19680.0727) changed the way the layout worked. Causing the End button to be located at the bottom with similar red text. This issue makes it harder for those who are color blind to view the text here, and it looks as if it is a red block. Could we change the way this is laid out, to the previous versions, or could we change the font color to be more easily read with those who have difficulty discerning different colors?

Currently RingCentral Meetings Rooms can only rotate the background image but does not have an option for a Screen Saver or to Turn off Display (display a black image to keep the screen from burning). This is a necessity for conference rooms where users leave the display on by accident or for extended periods of time during the day and overnight. When I tried enabling the built in screen saver of the machine this is not supported properly by the meetings rooms and does not wake properly.The suggested fix is to add "Screen Saver" option (with specified number of minute)…

  20. Would like to be able to use Clickshare with RingCentral Rooms, at present it works well and we can share the clickshare between users, however, as soon as someone joins the meeting from RingCentral App and shares the screen, it knocks out the ability to use the Clickshare again until we disconnect the HDMI in the main unit and plug back in
