modifying task without duplication
Ability to edit or modify the task by the creator or member without it creating a duplicate that causes confusion.

Hello, we need additional information about this request. While editing the task, or assigning a new Assignee, there a post created in the team, but it does not duplicate the task itself in our testing. Is this not the experience you are seeing? Please let us know more, and attach screenshots if possible. Thank you!

We do not want a post created as this becomes convoluted. a task should stand alone until closed or modified as itself. Anytime a task is touched it creates this post which then clutters the task view. as example a single task can have many people attached for individual action, so and each time they view it it will create a post. A post is not helpful for this function.

This is a crucial use and one reason we choose Ring Central as a platform. tracking tasks is our book of work in sales and duplications create this as an unusable function. Please create a solution to not duplicate a task each time you modify or update.
