Please bring back the ability to take control of the other persons screen!
I use that a lot as a developer doing quick edits on my other team members screen. I'm not sure why that feature would have been dropped.

Allow granular security to prevent end user from being able to hide their presence/phone numbers in HUD
New feature allows end users to be able to hide (in HUD) the presence and phone number of the person they are talking to. Need Administrative controls to prevent user's from being able to edit this configuration. We use RingCentral for a business model and prefer not to have some feature available to end users that would impact supervisory oversight.

While in a meeting a user be able to switch from the meeting to answer an incoming call.
Many time during a meeting an important call that we have been waiting on a call back will come in during the meeting. Yes, we can answer it, but the other attendees in the meeting can hear my side of the conversation. It would be beneficial if the user can take an incoming call without leave the meeting and without the attendees being able to hear your discussion.

Leaving a post-it note on video
Been in a situation just now that a video meeting had to be cancelled last minute and we could not amend the calendar schedule. I messaged the team members involved to let them know that the meeting is involved. At the scheduled date I joined the video meeting just in case somebody else did not read the postpone notice and they join the meeting.I was thinking it would be great if we could leave a message on screen in the meeting "Thank you for joining and apologies for the late notice. This meeting has been postponed and will be re-scheduled…

PTT standalone app for wearables like Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy, Pixel Watch to name a few
A Push to Talk feature would be wonderful on the Apple Watch. The device already has that feature for comms between Apple devices. It is so wonderful that PTT is device agnostic

Bring back picture in picture
When I minimized a meeting, it would bring up a smaller window that would overlay whatever browser or document I had in the background, so that I could keep working on something and keep an eye on the meeting without having to click back and forth.

When the device or headphones mute the mic, RCV should display that in the Video as it happens in Google Meet
When the laptop or Headphones mute their Mic, it should display that on RCV but it just shows Mic as Open while there is no Mic pickup as it is turned off from the device. When this happens on google meet it displays that "Your mic is muted by your system settings".

Add opportunity to change themes like Jupiter has
I would like to have the same theme in Jupiter and RCV because in the sun I have Jupiter with a light theme, in RCV - a dark, it is very difficult to look at the screen in this case.

When controlling a desktop remotely, allow copy and paste
When an individual is remotely controlling another participant's desktop, it can be useful to copy something from their personal desktop and paste it onto the desktop they are controlling. It is especially helpful when trying to navigate to complex URL sites on the other user's desktop, copy code, etc. This functionality existed under RC Meetings but is not available in RC Video. The workaround is to have to email the information to the remote desktop - not fun

Move shared content to a different screen
Mitel has ability to split the content being shared to a separate screen so you can view participants in full on one screen and view what you are presenting (in slide show if you wish) or others content being presented and on the other screen view your participants / controls

Ability to change screen share while already sharing
This may already exist I just haven't found out how to make it work.When I am starting up sharing my screen, and I may choose to share specifically "Screen 2". Later in that call, I decide that I want to switch the share to "Screen 1", I have to back all the way out of screen share and then re-enter and choose "Screen 1".If there was an ability to change straight from the Screen Share Toolbar, it would make the host's ability to move around their apps and tabs much more seamless.

Closed Captions Permanently On
For accessibility reasons, I need closed captions on for all my meetings. It's very inconvenient to have to turn them on manually for every meeting. It would be great if this was something that could be turned on or off in general settings so it could be automatically on all the time. If I join a meeting and other people have already joined and are talking, I miss some of the conversation until I'm able to manually turn captions on. Please consider this for those who need accessibility feature.

Stop Recording without exiting meeting
Updated RingCentral Video only gives you the option to PAUSE and RESUME a recording. To stop the video you have to end the meeting and go back in to do another take. Old RingCentral Meetings had the ability to STOP AND PAUSE a video recording. This feature is useful when recording a video of an interview and you want to do another take. RingCentral Meeting also gave you the ability to PIN the speaker so that the video was only of the person you wanted.
