I am completely with this person. I raise this issue 18months ago and I can not believe in this time of technology that we are being held to one physical phone to one person. I run a small business where all our rooms are used for different things by different people at different times of the week. Take our consulting room, where patients are being seen, at other times our admin staff are in there to make and receive calls. But because of the terrible RC system, the phone is allocated to one person, rather than a room or location, or even communal by the business. and to ask anyone using this phone to first log in and then add a pin is frankly ridiculous. so unfortunately if ring central wastes any more time not moving forward with customer needs, I will be forced to look for other phone services that offer flexibility, and support small businesses with small teams. ( I simply can not tell a member of staff to work in another room - and " oh please take your phone with you and plug it in while you are in there!)
This is SO important! GHL is so important to our business. If RC can not get itself up to date and proactive in integration asap, we will be forced to change phone providers. Please make this your priority ....and seeing the comments below .... you clearly need to listen to your customers!
