  1. We have User Info disabled for our users so they don't accidentally change their name information. For some reason the ability for a USER to change their voicemail pin is tied to User Info. We need to be able to allow users to change their voicemail pin without enabling USER info in the role. Please add this as this seems like a basic request that should have been addressed already.

  2. When a user is already on a call, and another call comes in, the phone continually rings over the original call.This makes it difficult to hear the original caller.I would propose that if a user is on a call and another comes in, RC makes a single ring tone to indicate another call is waiting, then just leave the pickup wizard on screen for the user to interact with.

  3. Many times a user receives a voicemail and want to forward it to another user to handle. We cannot receive voicemails via email, so forwarding a voicemail to another extension is a highly valuable feature. This allows the person who received the voicemail to forward it and add additional info to the next recipient without having to write it down and give it to the other person.

  4. There are times when office administrators are out of the office and not available to look at their phones, so this feature would allow for immediate responses to clients informing them of the protocol for immediate assistance.

  5. Allow callers to press 0, * or # and be transferred to another phone number when the caller reaches your voicemail greeting. Voicemail owners would prefer giving callers a choice on whether to leave a voicemail message, or transfer to another person like an operator, individual or ringing group. Allow within a users voicemail setting to configure the 0, *, or # destination when a caller reaches an individual voicemail box.

  6. If each user is not using an outside service to bring in their contacts, then there should be an option to see ALL CONTACTS for all users, not just all contacts for my as a user

  7. Text messages should have an ability to set an away message, similar to that of an email or changing your voicemail greeting, that will automatically respond to newly received messages. Our employees need a way to let their customers know they are not available if they are out of the office and intentionally disconnected. Without this feature we are constantly having to monitors each others phone lines and it is cluttered and in some cases intrusive.

  9. Custom messages should be able to be placed intermittently with hold music - otherwise recorded messages just play on a loop frustrating those on hold.

  11. This request is coming from a busy primary care doctors office. We use text messaging to communicate with our patients often. Sometimes we get texts after hours and on weekends. It would be great to have the option to send an automated text response when the office is closed letting patient's know other contact options and when our business hours are. I'm sure other businesses would appreciate this feature as well! Never let a client think they are being ignored but instead let them know when you expect a response!

  12. When a person calls and the call is not answered, the app would automatically engage with that person (who otherwise might go elsewhere) with an auto-generated text that says whatever the RingCentral customer sets it to.

  13. I want to give 100% of my attention to the person on the phone. It is distracting to have incoming calls clamor for my attention. If I am on the phone, I want incoming calls to go straight to voicemail. Thank you. Molly Friess, (907) 313-4840

  14. Some of our company applications that we use utilize shortcut keys such at F6 or F8. We would like to be able to change this at a company level so each user isn't having to manually do this as part of ringcentral onboarding.

  15. Today you are required to use the RC app to put all of your devices into DND. Users should be able to press the DND button on the physical endpoint and that status should sync over to the other physical devices or softphones that are assigned to that user. This would make it much easier from an end-user perspective, especially those that don't want to bring up the app to enable DND.

  16. There should be an ability to have call waiting for queue calls as using an IVR with set queues is the easiest way of having an overall system and using simultaneous rings for the same phone number that's a direct line vs using a queue for the IVR is a laborious set up process and tends to complicate a phone system for businesses and the customers.

    Hello all, wanted to share this video with you, to see if it matches your needs!It’s only a minute long, but note that there is no audio. In this video, a call queue member “SZ” receives and answers a call from the Test 1 call queue.After about 10-15 seconds, you’ll see a call pop-up in the Call Queue Pickup section of the HUD. This is a 2nd call that “SZ” then answers from Test 1 call queue, which puts the first call on hold.If this meets your needs, please let us know.   19. As a small business we have two extensions, each with their own contacts list. The lists are exclusive and not shareable or mergeable. We need one main contacts directory only and would love this option.
