Forward a voicemail to another extension
Many times a user receives a voicemail and want to forward it to another user to handle. We cannot receive voicemails via email, so forwarding a voicemail to another extension is a highly valuable feature. This allows the person who received the voicemail to forward it and add additional info to the next recipient without having to write it down and give it to the other person.

Unfortunately, the system only allows forwarding of voicemails to "personal contacts" versus Company Contacts, and only by the user, not in the service web portal by administration. There is another feature request asking to be able to export the Company Contacts so that they can be imported as Personal Contacts, for this same purpose of forwarding emails. Note that if this were possible, only the users that appear in the company directory would be exported whereas it would be nice to be able to see all users to select who we want to export or to be able to sort via Excel before importing. It would be best to be able to avoid all of that and just do a lookup of who you want to forward a message to, either by name or extension.

It is inconceivable that a phone system would not include the ability for voicemail to be forwarded to another internal extension. It needs to be able to be forwarded to another user and show up in their pending voicemails as an unheard voicemail that they can then save, or find later, or forward again to another user, if necessary. Removing it from Voicemail makes it almost impossible to save and find again later.

We look forward to having this feature added - we have users who also do not get emails and want to forward their voicemails to other users and add audible comments to the message.
