  1. Ability to delete video meetings in bulk

    Ability to delete and being able to remove recorded

    video meetings in bulk instead of one by one. Curretly

    when i'm going to video meetings recording i can only delete it

    one by one. We don't have the option to delete or select multiple

    video meetings and delete at the same time

  3. use personal meeting id or name

    Allow admins to enable setting for "Use Personal meeting ID or name for instant meetings". Existing ideas exist for allowing admins to set a personal meeting name (https://ideas.ringcentral.com/forums/958499-events-video/suggestions/48028307-add-the-personal-meeting-names-from-the-super-admi). We'd also like admins to be able to set the option to use personal meeting ID or names in conjunction with the ability for admins to set a personal meeting name.

    We'd like to eliminate users having to manually set these options.

    It would be nice to have the option to pick a reaction from an emoji keyboard. Sometimes you want to send a celebration icon for success or laughing emoji.

  5. Live office function that would allow for more flexibility then having just an open meeting the team is on.

    Remote working live office where user can login and keep they chat and video feed going but with more functionality to make and take calls without needing to leave the meeting.

    Notes (private and public) should auto-download for all participants at the end of the meeting.
    This ensures accessibility even if the user is not the meeting organizer.

    Users should be able to drag and reposition video thumbnails while sharing their screen.
    Presenters and participants should always be able to see key faces without obstructing content.
    There should be an option to resize or minimize video thumbnails based on user preference.

    It would be very helpful if customers can have the option to generate transcript if the past recorded video meeting does not generate a transcription and the summary automatically.

    It is critical that im able to search for the participant (not by the host) in a video conference within a date range).

    l am providing a video conference service where participants have to attend a certain number of times. I want to be able to search for a participant within a date range to verify they have attended the minimum number of video conferences.

  15. Allow Participants to Self-Select Breakout Rooms

    I’d love to see an enhancement to RingCentral Video’s breakout room functionality that allows participants to self-select and move freely between breakout rooms without host intervention.

    Currently, the host has to assign participants, which slows down dynamic team discussions. In my team’s workflow, we often need to jump between multiple breakout rooms (3-4) for quick one-on-one conversations with different team members throughout a meeting. It would be extremely helpful if participants could select their own breakout room on demand—similar to how some other platforms handle this feature.

  16. Auto Launch Meeting After RC App Installation

    When a user downloads the RingCentral desktop app installation for a RingCentral video meeting for the enhanced screen sharing experience, the .exe that is downloaded contains additional configuration information including RingCentraltype=videoconf=PersonalMeetingName.exe. After the .exe installer is ran, the participant is not automatically launched into the meeting. The user must then click "Join a Meeting" in the RC desktop app, or else click the meeting link in the email again to be taken into the meeting.

    If the .exe used to install the RC desktop app includes the additional "type=video_conf=PersonalMeetingName" the user should be taken directly into the meeting…

  17. Guest Join Video Meeting Using Personal Meeting Name in RC Application

    A guest user is not able to join a RingCentral Video Meeting from the RingCentral desktop app using a personal meeting name when clicking "Join A Meeting"--they receive an "Invalid Meeting ID" message. The meeting name can be used to join a RingCentral Video Meeting in a web browser, or if the user has a RingCentral account and is signed into the RingCentral Desktop App.

    We largely use RingCentral Video Meetings for Remote Control of customer screens, which requires using the RingCentral desktop app on the customer system. Allowing customers to join using a personal meeting name in the RingCentral…

  20. Share meeting recordings with ring central guests.

    Currently this option is not working and the name of the guest is showing but the checkmark option to share it with guest is not allowed.
