  1. Use different icons in comparison to Zoom icons.

    The icons appear the same as the ones from Zoom. Use personalized icons, so it doesn't seem as if it was copied from Zoom.

  2. Canadian Vancouver conference line

    I have two requests/suggestions regarding our RingCentral Video Meetings and Conference Calls: When sharing the screen, there’s an option to mark-up the screen with a ‘pen’ function, but not a highlighter (as in Zoom)Here’s a screenshot of the Zoom options. Each item has a drop down list with further settings (pen line thickness, color, etc.)This would be a suggestion to pass on to the developers for future improvements. We need to have the Canada – Vancouver conference line available as an option in the RingCentral settings (currently only shows the ones listed below, but I found the Vancouver one after…

  3. Assign a different host or co-host to start Webinars

    Option to allow users to assign a new host or co-host for RCV webinars - ahead of time. This way if one person scheduled a webinar, and it's already got a lot of registered people, But they won't be able to attend. - They can assign someone else to start the webinar on their behalf.I just wanted to put in this suggestion for the development of RCV webinars (Because we get this request a lot on RCM webinars, but there is no way to do it there).

  4. In RC Video from the App allow invite to send a text with the invite in it. Easy start from invitee phone.

    This is for Telemedicine. It needs to be easy easy for the patient. One click. May not have email or laptop available.

  5. Support secondary laptop video cards or option to disable GPU processing.

    Video still does not have any options to support other onboard Video cards or give such options like in RC App RC Meetings to force CPU to handle video content sharing or GPU support for video processing.For Laptop that have two video cards such as CPU intergrated graphics card and a Nvidia GPU RC Classic APP and RC APP in order to get screen sharing to work you need to force the applicaiton to run on intel graphics card and turn off GPU processing for desktop sharing.

  6. How about audible feedback on "Test mic"

    Hard to believe that the only feedback we get on "test microphone" is whether the visual level bar is moving or not. We need to be able to hear it played back to us, as other apps do. And if it's not acceptable or not loud enough, there needs to be manual setting to override the automatic.

  7. Option to Block Incoming Calls when in a Video Meeting

    Calls continue to come in via Phone when in a Video Meeting. Would be good to have an option to block them. User choice

  8. Enhance my video option

    Ring Central Zoom has an option to enhance video, which softens the appearance of the user. Would be great if Ring Central Video could add this.

  9. Integration with Google Drive

    Additionally, I would like to see RCV interact with Word or Google Drive during screen share, so that anyone on the call can edit the same document. I realize that you can do this by sharing the document beforehand, but it would nice to give permissions while on the call using RCV (and eliminating a step).

    Users are reported that they expecting next features using in-conference chat:share photoshaving unicode emojispre-load photos/pages when sharing a link (like telegram does)

    Carlyle Group would like to replace RC Logo with their own and remove the link to download the RC App from message notifications that arrive via email.

  13. Add ability in Glip to create an email DL address (Outlook integration?) or more simply, collect a formatted list of member e-mail addre...

    ...sses (semicolon delimited) in order to send an email to participants.. I believe it would be useful to have the ability to send an email to all Glip team members instead of 'chatting' the content to them.   14. Add support for MacBook touch bar

    Apple touchbar is amazing. But doesn't recognise RCV. It would be great to have mute, screen share etc . This is supported in RCM and zoom.

  16. Visibility to Directory of Rooms via in-room device

    Customer (Jacksonville Jaguars) is looking for a way to start a meeting with another Room ad-hoc. They're expecting something like what Zoom (not RCM) already has. Essentially a directory of Rooms within their account.

  17. Option for participants to show that they are away for few mins during the call

    During the meeting sometime people have to attend something (emergency call, address some other interruption) and go away for few mins.Idea to show that status in participants list and also overlay the message when person changes the status.

  18. Remove the RC Video generic profile picture if a profile picture is uploaded.

    RC Video displays a picture of a generic person underneath a profile photo with a transparency, creating an odd looking combination of the profile photo with the generic profile photo in the background. Included images to illustrate the issue.

  19. Keep Video Galary shown by default when sharing screen

    When we're on a video meeting and someone share the screen, it hides the video galary and I will have to use the view options to bring it back. However, when a second person share the screen, same thing happens and I have to do that again.

  20. Prevent control buttons from moving when viewing chat/participants

    RCV has been giving me troubles when buttons change position as you view/hide the participant or chat views.I've had this issue several times in the last few weeks, it is coming up due to the UX of RCV. I'm in a meeting and I view that there are chat comments by seeing the badge on the chat iconI click the chat button to view the comments, I read the comments without changing the position of my cursorI finish reading the comments, and would like to close them to increase the size of the screen shareI click to hide the comments…
