  1. RingSense currently requires organizations to select a single industry, which auto-assigns predefined Call Types. This creates limitations for companies whose operating model spans multiple industries and functions. As a REIT, our business includes real estate (leasing), property management, home services, customer care, and accounts receivable/collections, all supported by cross-trained associates. Because of this, no single industry preset fits our operation.

    We need the ability to fully customize Call Types independent of industry selection and have those Call Types follow the associate or skill profile, not remain tied only to the industry or queue.

  2. Picking up parked call (park extension) does not log the call in RingCentral app/personal call log. It should log the pickup of a parked call in personal call logs.

  3. Can we get the AIR to be able to read a spreadsheet or PDF of order information so the customers can get their order info over the phone or via text message? I tried it out with a Ring Central specialist and we were not able to get it to work.

  5. Customer has multiple external numbers that needs to ring using the transfer by context. We created a custom rule on one of the extensions (Ext 101) to ring the numbers. However, AI receptionist still indicates the name of the extension prior transferring the call. It could be better if AI receptionist will instead state the name of the rule or give a category to select of which rule the context is intended to be transferred and AIR will indicate the name of the rule instead of the name of the extension.

  8. make it an option to have the AI receptionist be an option for call routing. For example if I don't answer the line and the person that is next doesn't answer then it goes to the AI receptionist. Similar to the way a operator or receptionist would have in a real office setting

    Currently, to ensure proper call routing, our team must add and maintain custom rules for every employee across all AI Receptionists. This is time-consuming, not scalable, and does not align with the intended functionality of transfer by name.

    Request:
    We request that the AI Receptionist be enhanced so that transfer by name works correctly without the need for custom rules for each employee. The system should automatically recognize active users by name across all AI Receptionists, improving efficiency and ensuring a consistent caller experience.

  10. Identify sub-topics in the RingSense Trackers. Today, I have to read the AI Transcripts to determine what happened at the detail level. For example, in Retail, we will see a large proportion of calls with the Tracker - Shipping Delay - but there may be various causes for the delay - It could be a Shipper issue, a warehouse issue, an inventory issue, etc. This would be very helpful in communicating VoC to a broader audience, in addition to expediting the recognition of issues and trends.

Currently, RingCentral’s AI Receptionist (AIR) can capture leads and transfer calls based on contextual routing, but there is no option to send the call directly to a message-only extension (an extension that accepts messages or voicemail without ringing a user device) once lead capture or other AI interactions are complete. Adding this capability would allow businesses to automate follow-up without requiring the call to ring a live extension.

  12. Currently, an implicit team is built when you assign a user in the system a manager. That manager's name will be the team name (John Doe's Team) and cannot be changed. Many customers would like to be able to edit this team name because they have teams that are not associated directly with that manager. Ex.   15. Requesting a feature that lets admins upload or manage a list of client and company names in multiple languages (e.g., English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, etc.) so RingSense and RingCX can recognize them correctly in AI transcripts and summaries.

  16. Currently, only calls made through the app are transcribed and summarized with AI assistant. You should add this feature to calls made with a desktop phone, certainly if the app is open on your computer. At the very least, you should be able to send recorded calls to the AI assistant and get a summary in return
