  1. There should be an option to silence the announcement that plays when AI is starting to transcribe a note. This announcement is loud, and it speaks over us greeting our clients. It's confusing to our clients and sometimes results in them hanging up the call because they think they're calling the wrong establishment.

  2. When you go to share a transcription, the choice to share to GMAIL is an option. We would like the ability to turn off sharing as a hierchy, and then be able to turn on sharing to certain applications at our descretion. Considering our phone calls are HIPAA protected, the transcription should be also, we do not give all users the ability to download their recorded calls, as an example, we do not want to give everyone the option to share their transcribed calls either.

  3. It would be extremely helpful for our org to export AI transcripts and summaries from the admin portal similar to how we can download call recordings. A bulk feature would be even better.

  4. Another change was made last week where now a ‘note’ section takes up most of the screen. Even after closing out of the note option, every time the phone is answered, it opens again.

    Please advise how to de-activate these changes on the user end. Thank you!

We need to make sure our employees make a conscious decision to turn AI features because there are many legal restrictions around recording/transcribing conversations where our business operates. We do not want to remove the option entirely, but we want to require the users to manually turn it on each time, not have the ability to toggle it on so that the feature runss automatically every time a call is made.

  10. Currently, RingCentral's AI assistance features, like call summaries and sentiment analysis, are applied broadly without much customization. This feature request suggests enabling more granular control, allowing businesses to manage these features by specific user roles or individual extensions. It also includes the ability to disable AI assistance for all users and selectively re-enable it as needed. This would enhance flexibility and make the AI features more valuable for businesses of all sizes.

  12. Some of us don't use SalesForce. My firm uses MyCase. I'd like to use Zapier to pull the transcription and the AI summary and post to a call item in MyCase. Right now, I can't pull recordings, transcripts, or notes through Zapier, only call logs and contacts.

  13. We would like to have the ability to transcribe an existing recording. In case the notes or transcript were turned off during a live call, we can still have the option to transcribe a recording.

  15. My company would like to test AI but turning it on in the backend meant it was enable for all 6,000+ users by deafult. We found inconsistency when AI is turned on the backend, “AI Assistant” is ON by default but “Ask RingSense AI” is OFF by default (see attach screenshot).

    As it stand if testing looks good in DEV lab tenant, we would NOT be able to have a select group of users in PROD to help us test since turning it on in the backend will enable everyone by default and trying to use your bulk update to…

  19. Allow calls to initiate the Smart Notes and transcription as soon as the call connects weather its inbound or outbound. Also add option for Super Admin to controls to allow or not the users to pause the transcription or recording.

  20. We recently enabled AI Notes for our organization, which works well for all users. However, we've noticed an issue where when users pause or turn off the AI Notes, no notification or alert is provided to inform them that the notes have been paused or turned off.
