  4. Is there a way to configure ring central desktop app to call the phone number from an outlook profile card? There's a phone icon when you hover or click on a contact in outlook but you can't click the button. Microsoft Teams works like this. It would be faster if you could just click the phone icon instead of going to RC desktop app or outlook add in and type the name / number, when you could just make two mouse clicks and dial the number right away.

  6. Right now you can programmatically post cards to a ring central room, but they are very limited in width. So if you try to post something like a table of data, you can do it, but your table will tend to get cut off. There will be lots of free space to the right, but the cards won't use that. It can be pretty annoying. I'll attach an example.

  8. For a business environment, there should be an option for ALL inbound/outbound calls to be logged and a SUPER ADMIN should be able to stop a manager from deleting call logs.

For security reasons, the customer SFIL MUST disable file sharing in Glip to avoid propagation of viruses.When disabling file sharing in Glip Admin, users can still exchange Code Snippet.Customer demonstrated that they were able to share EICAR virus using this feature.They consider this as a security threat and want to disable that capability of sharing code snippet when file sharing is disabled.

  10. It is useful as it will be a faster way to get notified if an alert of the particular criteria gets triggered. One won't have to check emails or have to keep the portal open all the time to get notification.

  11. Wish there was IFTT support with RingCentral with the applets. I'm not smart with computer and IFTT Makes It easy to delever information to almost any platform i need from. From live call display for free pbx. The same would be great for here to help out even more. We use IFTT for alot and its unsupported. Just being our luck as we are Considerable familour about pipedream and other apps like that. I'm old school. I would love to be able to get my inbound info from IFTT the same way as i would on this platform that's great.

  12. Some customers use Teams as their primary collaboration and calling application and Salesforce as the CRM. It would be helpful for users to be able to stay in Teams for calling while using Salesforce.

  13. In Enterprise Federations Enterprise Admins may administer all the intances in the Admin Portal, but not in the Developer's portal. It is necessary to create separate logins in each instance in order to create and manage 'Applications' in the developer portal. This should work like other operation in the Enterprise Admin Role.

  14. Some customers use Teams as their primary collaboration and calling application, with 1,000's of users using MS Teams. Adding MSI support for the new RingCentral Embedded Dialer Plug-In for MS Teams would be a way to be able to strategically deploy it.

  18. I find it odd that RingCentral allows the automatic call recording to record on hold marketing music when we are the ones who intiated the call but not when we are called. What could be the reason for this other than "system limitation"?

  19. Right now only Missed Calls or Completed Calls will trigger automations in Zapier. Instead, it would be nice if ANY call could trigger an automation and then we can filter by result and create more complex workflows.

  20. We use Zapier to run a variety of automations whenever there are missed calls. Unfortunately, we cannot build any automations around call queues as this feature is not supported in the Ringcentral integration with Zapier which limits how we set up the system. Either we use a virtual user (that can integrate with Zapier) that forwards calls to multiple call agents or we use a call queue (that cannot integrate with Zapier) and give up all this extra functionality.Please add call queue support to Zapier!
