Display Inbound Caller ID in Preview Window for RingCentral for HubSpot
Description:
Currently, when an inbound call is received through the RingCentral for HubSpot integration, the preview window displays the previous incoming call information instead of the current one. The request is to enhance the integration to display the correct caller number or caller ID in the inbound call preview window in real time.
Current Behavior:
- The preview window shows the last received call information instead of the new incoming call.
- In some instances, the preview window gets stuck on the loading screen or displays a blank page, preventing the user from viewing caller details.
Requested Enhancement:
- Modify the RingCentral for HubSpot integration to dynamically refresh the call preview window and display the active caller’s phone number/caller ID for each inbound call.
- Ensure the preview window loads properly and does not freeze or display outdated information.
Business Impact:
- Users rely on accurate caller information for timely and efficient customer engagement.
- Incorrect or missing caller ID affects call handling, CRM record accuracy, and overall productivity.

Facing this issue as well. The integration is great when it works but when the window freezes or is displaying the wrong information, it's not helpful for logging calls.
I've worked with support repeatedly on the intermittent loading/freezing issue to no lasting resolution.
Would love to see this fixed so we can reliably use the RC integration until that point, we'll be exploring new options to consistently get the data we need captured.
