  1. Unified status in Presence sync between MS Teams Embedded App and RC App

    The EA is a telephony-focused app that uses our platform presence status. However, the RingCentral App has another messaging focused status that is also being used. This extra status used in RingCentral app causes the 2 HUD displays to show different results.

    Presence statuses in RC: https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Presence/readUserPresenceStatus

    The usage of this presence status in different apps may vary.

    It would be great if the status in RingCentral and MS Teams Embedded App is synced or unified which is the main purpose of the Presence sync feature.

    Transferred calls returned to transferor if the receiving extension does not answer.
    For example, Extension 1000 transfers call to Ext. 1007 - Ext. 1007 does not answer. Call gets returned to Ext. 1000.

  11. Show HUD subtab after call ends

    I have the HUD subtab when I'm in the Phone tab of the RC app. Previously, before an update a few months ago, the RC app would remember the last selected subtab after a call ended, which was almost always HUD. Now, it always returns me to the Keypad subtab after a call.

  12. Upload bulk Contacts on RC Admin Portal

    Upload bulk contacts on RC admin portal with less restrictions or offer more flexibility on the requirements. Allow special characters such as parenthesis or dashes to avoid tedious modifications on the file.
    Additionally, please improve the upload time as well

    I would like to see my tasks on the sidebar like I can see my text messages.
    Now, I must remember that I assigned a task, so go to the individual name and click tasks.

    We are implementing Yardi CRM IQ and they are having issues with call routing. Here is the note from Yardi support. "When we call any third-party number, we need a response of 180Ring, indicating the phone is in fact waiting for someone to answer. Instead, with Ring Central, they provide us a SIP response of 200 OK, which means the call has been answered even when it really hasn't been.   16. Ability to generate reports to show purchased calling credit charges for the entire year

    • can i get a report of call credits being used
    • can i get logs going back 12 months with the calling credit used
    • looking for total usage that takes up the call credits
    • essentially when we are invoiced for another call credit package at $20 we need to know what sites used the credits to bill them accordingly

  17. Screenpop on a New browser window or tab | RC for Salesforce

    Currently, the screen pop settings in RingCentral for Salesforce in lightning mode has the same behavior (Existing browser window).

    It would be great if had an option for 'New browser window or tab' to work on Lightning mode.

    This way, the screen pop will appear on a new window or tab whenever there's an incoming call.

  18. No pop-up recommendation to send an invite to download and use RingCentral to Contacts that are non-RingCentral users

    When RingCentral App detects that a Contact is not using RingCentral App, the customer doesn't want any pop-up recommendation to send an invite to the Contact to download and use RingCentral.

  20. Add, remove, or cancel services without needing to talk to Retention

    Customers should be able to add, remove, or cancel service completely without needing to call "Retention". I understand that security is a concern but if you are validating admins that login then allow them to make changes without having to jump through hoops or dark patterns to make changes.
