Granular Toggle to Disable "Welcome Email" Notifications During MS Teams Embedded App Deployments
When administrators deploy or reinstall the RingCentral for MS Teams Embedded App, the system automatically sends a "Welcome / Activation Email" to users. During large-scale deployments or when retrying failed installations, this causes users who already have the app installed to receive upwards of 20 redundant emails.
We request a global toggle or checkbox in the RingCentral Admin Portal to disable/suppress Welcome Email notifications during deployments. This will allow IT teams to silently troubleshoot and rerun installations for failed users without spamming the rest of the organization or causing internal helpdesk influxes.
