  1. The Agent Assist UI during an active call requires the Agent to open the panel to access the feature. If an AI Knowledge Base is associated with a Voice Queue, the panel should open automatically when an agent is connected to a caller -or- there should be a toggle in the Voice Queue General settings to show it automatically or not (meaning: agent has to open the panel manually)

  4. As an agent, the option to send a new WhatsApp message within the RCX agent UI is missing. This is available for other platforms (email, Facebook, X, etc.) but not for WhatsApp.
This is something that is available via API, so this request is specifically for the functionality to be added to the agent UI within RingCX.

  5. Today it is possible to use PSTN Transfer to send calls to RingEX from RingCX IVR studio.

Adding a list of all RingEX extensions would improve customer experience. So they can quickly pick and choose from the list of call queues or users on the IVR Studio.

  6. Current Behavior: The "Send RingEX calls to voicemail" feature currently routes all direct calls to the user’s personal voicemail while they are on a RingCX call. There is no alternative for organizations that do not use voicemail or want to avoid agents managing a personal inbox backlog.

Proposed Solution: Expand the current "Send to Voicemail" permission into a selectable menu with three additional handling options:

    • Busy Tone: Disconnect with a busy signal to indicate the agent is occupied.

    • Announcement Only: Play a "User is busy" recording and disconnect without allowing a voicemail to be left.

    • Forwarding: Route the direct call…

  7. When an agent is using the RingCX application, they have the ability to transfer calls to RingEX users and see their extensions in the corporate directory. However, there is no native integration that allows RingCX agents to transfer calls directly to RingEX call queues. The customer is currently using a workaround where they manually upload the DIDs of the RingEX call queues into the RingCX phone book, which allows for transfers as if it were an external contact. This is a time-consuming and inefficient process that requires manual maintenance whenever a call queue is changed or added. The customer would…

  8. Enable RingEX Receptionist to preserve the original caller's number (Originating Caller ID) when transferring calls to RingCX.

    Current behavior:
When a call is transferred from RingEX to RingCX, the original caller’s number is not retained. Instead, RingCX displays the Caller ID of the RingEX user who performed the transfer.

  10. The more our customers leverage RingCX, they need a way to avoid web page refreshes disconnecting calls. Salesforce (SFDC) encounters a lot of random refreshes that are impacting the SFDC Agent widget when on calls (since it's just the RCX native with a skin on it). If the agent can use the embedded RCX within the desktop version of RingEX, and they can access SFDC content in-app, that would be a solid workaround for the refresh issue.

SFDC content to access in-app includes: customer profiles, records, accounts, opportunities, etc.

  11. When receiving an incoming call from an employee their name is not displayed unless they are on the ex side only. This causes confusion on who is calling. We would like for the employees name that is calling any internal extension to be displayed on the incoming call whether they are cx or ex

  13. For some reason you can set a DTMF Queue event to be an Inbound Queue Callback, but you can't do it from the Queue Event itself. Every other option is there, but that one is missing. It seems a bug or missed item since it would only enhance the options available?

There are many reasons for a queue event to go to Callback rather than requiring a DTMF selection to do it.

  14. It would be nice to have an option to ring all agents simultaneously under a Call Queue. This would:

    • Provide the possibility of a shorter wait time for callers
    • Avoid caller abandons
    • Help in user data analyzation on who picks up the most/least calls

  15. Requesting to have the bulk upload on directories under RingCX. Uploading new contacts on directories have only one option to upload one by one. If needing to upload hundreds of contacts, that will take time.

Creating global phone book entries in RingCX screenshots of options attached.

  16. Not having park in the CX platform creates a large problem for our users. Having the ability for CX users be able to park calls for both CX users as well as EX users would make the pain of switching to Ringcentral much easier. I have been told that call centers simply do not use park but I think that is not a true statement. We have 80 employees and several queues. some queues are on the EX side and some on the CX. We are not the typical call center but we wanted the Queued callback and the ability…

  17. At the moment, the corporate directory only shows 10 extensions when transferring calls. We are required to search manually for the extension before transferring the call.

We would like to be able to see all extensions available to us in the corporate directory when transferring calls.

  19. Replace the following button in screenshot into a "Cancel transfer" option (to be translated for other supported languages too):

    when making a transfer:
put the caller on hold > transfer > dial the 3rd party phone/REX/RCX users ,

then when the RCX agent is connected with that 3rd party to whom we transfer the call , we should be able to cancel the transfer:

in the screenshot, the 3rd option: Transfer: Extension xxxx --> to be replaced by :
"Cancel Transfer : EXtension xxxx" .

  20. While we have a pretty full roadmap, just this past week we have had several Global requests for RingCX. Our global requirements go beyond GDPR.

Some requirements bubble up like multiple languages operating in the same system
And that’s not just a voice language pack for system messages, TTS, ASR its also what language the agent uses within the RingCX Agent workspace. For call recording we must hairpin back to the US. Not to mention where data is stored and how to comply with “Forget Me” in GDPR regions.

Those and more need to be addresses down the road, laying…
