to better clarify and answer @ seongho hong (the group product mnager), yes, all of those reasons. we want the ability to decline only a specific call, without affecting any other call whether in the same or different queue, this is an absolute must for mid-size service based businesses sales departments, it is CRITICAL this one feature in making me consider switching away from ringcentral, it's making the workplace stressed because the ringer does not stop AT ALL and if users mute or disable queue then they miss calls. i'm not assuming, I tried every option and work-around and they are all critically FLAWED, the solution is to just allow a user to ignore a specific call, you already have an "ignore" button but as it is setup now the ignore button is USELESS, increasing call wrap up time is a TERRIBLE work-around because it only works for a few seconds or minutes and if I set it to a longer time then tht is extra WASTED time the user is sitting waiting rather than selling, ALL THE WORK-AROUNDS ABSOLUTELY SUCK, PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE ASAP!!!!!!
in my non-programmer/developer mind, it is as simple as having an admin settings toggle switch in the queue call handling section that works along the lines of ( for call xyz1.0, if extension 102(ex.) clicks ignore then block call xyz1.0 from re-ringing at 102 again, but other calls xyz2.0, xyz 3.0 etc. remain unaffected) or alternatively have an additional setting the works along the lines of ( for call xyz1.0, if extension 102(ex.) clicks ignore then block call xyz1.0 from re-ringing at 102 for x amount of minutes, after x minutes it re-rings, and if all users click "ignore" then forward call to voicemail) and NO, using call-wrapping setting and wait settings does NOT accomplish the same thing because it affects the whole queue and wastes users' time waiting for another call for minutes. plus, the wait setting "When all agents click Ignore call, are busy or unavailable" does not work with "ignore" if simultaneous ringing is chosen.
