  5. This week (around March 4th, 2025), the desktop version of RC changed so I can no longer see the SMS history when sending a new text message. I want to be able to type in a number or contact name and see the history of the text thread instead of a blank window with nothing of the previous messages. Please switch it back!

    Currently, the “Text Send Failure” notification continues to appear in the SMS thread preview, even if the failed message occurred long ago. This can cause confusion for users, as it gives the impression that the most recent message did not go through successfully.

    Suggested Improvement:
    The “Text Send Failure” indicator should automatically disappear from the SMS thread preview once the user reopens the conversation.

    Current Limitation:
    At present, the only way to remove the notification is to edit and resend the failed message or delete all failed SMS messages, which can be time-consuming — especially when the failed messages…

  15. We are looking for an option to embed an SMS Segment Calculator inside the RingCentral app so that we can see how the segments are being calculated for the SMS content we are trying to send.   20. Enable users with non-RingCentral numbers to opt out of SMS from all RingCentral numbers by texting "STOP" to any single RingCentral number. A feature that allows a user can send the word "STOP" to RingCentral's main number and it will opt-out them out to send SMS.
