Ability to Opt-Out SMS for All Numbers Within an Account
Currently, customers can only opt out of receiving SMS messages by replying "STOP" to text messages from individual phone numbers. This process can be cumbersome for accounts with multiple numbers, as customers must opt out separately for each one.
We request a feature that allows customers to opt out of SMS messaging across all numbers within their account simultaneously. This centralized opt-out option would improve user experience by providing a simpler and more efficient way to manage SMS preferences and ensure compliance with opt-out regulations.

Disable/remove capability to create Company SMS Template for Custom Roles
App does not honor user role settings to prevent SMS company template creation
We have a custom role applied to user to prevent them from adding company SMS templates but it still allows them to create via the texting interface.

Make the SMS ID show the same name as the CALLER ID
Right now the SMS / TEXT id shows only the phone number. So people opt-in for SMS / TEXT messages and then they see a number that they don't remember. If you ask for my CALLER ID to show what I type, then it should apply to the SMS / TEXT as well if I desire it. This feature works on your personal phone when SMS / TEXTing.... also works on WhatsApp and other texting apps, why not here?

New contact button in the name field of texting
I would like to make a suggestion of a new feature to add to ring central. When entering a name to send a text it would be good to add a button to create a new contact if that person is not already in your contact list so you do not have to go to contacts and retype the name again to create a new contact.

SMS report would like to show the body of the message as well
The report currently only shows that there was a message sent between the two numbers but does not show the actual message. Would like for to have a option that you can see the actual body of the message in the SMS text

Emergency Text
In the case of an emergency, set up an extension, even within the emergency section in EX that can be called quickly during an event i.e. gun fire, robbery, ******* that can be hot keyed on a desk phone and when called will send a text to certain mobile phones for the companies response team. This would be pivotal as email to text will no longer be an option in the near future and is what is used currently.

Currently: Call queues can receive SMS messages. You can assign a SMS recipient to the call queue. But it can only be one user on the system. User can then send or receive to any number assigned to that call queue but this is not what WM is looking for.2 votes -

Bunching Archived Texts & Better Formatting
Currently the SMS archiving is mediocre at best. It archives into a selected provider like Google Drive & each text is saved individually in a notepad (unless using a 3rd party integrated archiving solution). In the financial services industry this completely misses the point of archiving. SEC/FINRA standards require an archiving solution that is not editable. It would be really nice to have it saved even as a PDF with clear meta data saved (time stamp, numbers texting, etc.).
