  3. In Mac OSX, natively, a user can use Option + Left arrow or Option + Right arrow to move the cursor back one word or forward one word. That's a consistent behavior in every application on the Mac.RingCentral App introduced additional keyboard shortcuts in 22.1.20.341 Web, 22.1.11.2682 Mac (Intel) release that changes the native behavior.   4. In addition (or maybe instead of?) the standard pre-built status messages, it would be helpful to have some of your previous status messages as well. For instance, we're often indicating where we are...at the office, working from home, etc. It would be really convenient if you could just toggle back to a previous status, without having to type it all over again. Having your own custom list of status messages is arguably more useful than the generic messages.

  5. To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

  6. In a queue, it detects that member as busy when engaged on a call. This doesn't enable them to receive call, unlike in call forwarding that has the ability to receive calls in all platform

  8. Zoom added their Universal Binary which supports their M1 chips without going through their Rosetta 2 emulation. I believe this would help RingCentral as I occasionally experience application freezes on the M1 when trying to enable my camera / audio too quickly after loading into a meeting or trying to share my screen. I believe natively supporting the M1 would resolve those issues.

  10. So our company has to download the email confirmation from that email, then attach it to the actual fax from ring central and it's just plain extra work. The fax and rest of the pages in the actual fax are on top of every page sent except a sent action or success notation. Life would be better as we know it if this can be implemented through the actual ring central and fax sent through ring central. Hear my pleaThank You,Marisela Garcia RMA/LMRT

  11. I am sorry to say but you have made my work life miserable by making your incomplete app mandatory to me. You should not have launched a new app without solving the errors in it. First I was not able to sort my teams in folders, which is now solved, and thank you for that, secondly, there is a character limit on the tasks, please remove the limit, I can't reply to the tasks. Tasks should be visible all the time, minimal clicks and scrolls should be required to reach anywhere. Keep it simple like before. Don't complicate things. PLEASE!Just…

  13. On the old desktop/browser app, you could see a snippet of the beginning message of the most recent sms messages & you could scroll down to see older messages. When we had to switch to the new desktop/browser app, that feature went away & now we can only scroll through the phone numbers of the recent recipients & have to click on each specific # to see the message.   14. I understand that we can set a custom status and I understand that there are 6 "canned" statuses. I would like the ability to either edit those 6 canned "slots" or add my own custom statuses that I might use frequently. I would find this super useful during work from home times.Examples: "Picking up the kiddo from school", "Away for lunch", etc.

We currently have a large pool of our users using the RC Phone app, the main reason for this is the fact that it is small and can sit in the corner of their Screen and doesn't require much desktop real estate. As we have been trying to migrate our users over to the RC app, this has been a huge roadblock. If there was a way to Pop-out or the dialer into a new window that can be moved outside of the RC app window this would allow for the same functionality as was available with the Phone App.…

  18. Old RC would provide sound notifications even if your app was focused. You could be ative in a team, and still receive sound notifications for other teams. Now, you do not get any sound notifications if the app is focused - it NEEDS to be out of focus / not active in order to get sound notifications.

  20. Currently Call Queue Notifications could be sent to the email or can be checked in the Admin Portal.It will be very useful for our RC Customers to be able to receive those notifications in the RC App.
