  1. Would like to add the feature to add a co-host on RingCentral Video when scheduling a meeting. This is when I am on a vacation and has a scheduled recurring meeting. I do not want to stay on meeting first before assigning someone as host moderator.

  2. The ability to pause your screen share is extremely helpful. For instance, while your client is asking a question, you pause the share to locate the information in order to answer their question. This was something you were always able to do using RingCentral Meetings, but has been discontinued under RingCentral Video. This feature also sets you apart from most other web conference platforms.

  4. If I use virtual backgrounds and need to use a secondary camera to show features on a phone or how to perform a task, etc... I need to go in to video settings to click off virtual backgrounds before I can switch the camera. This is time consuming and painful. If I don't need to modify any of the virtual background settings, I should be able to easily toggle the background on or off with a switch or keyboard shortcut.

  6. I would like to have the ability to preview my video image before joining/sharing with the group in a video meeting. This way one can check to make sure there is nothing embarrasing in the back ground, check your hair, or just to make sure the picture is appropriate before sharing with others.

  7. when using RCV to conduct/host a round table, it's beneficial to hold attendees in the waiting room and to be able to send them a message, e.g. starting in 2 minutes

  8. Research shows meetings are more tiring if you're seeing an image of yourself. There should be an option to hide self view. Moving into a gallery view is not the same, you are still visible.

  9. Now chat only supports text. MS Teams allows a MUCH richer experience in Chat, with emoticons, GIFs, copy and paste images and videos.

  12. Hello there, I have an idea of how to improve our video product. Issue: When a host or speaker presents something it's really difficult to remember all text into the head. And usually, they prepare some document with text, or if it's Google Slides you can use Speaker notes. Anyway, as a speaker you need to read your notes and the audience sees that your eyes watching not in front of the camera. In this case, you are losing contact with the audience. Solution: Implement a Teleprompter Mirror. You can easily paste text and setup speed, size, text and background…

  14. My users are up in arms about this - it's completely absurd we're even dealing with this. When you are on a RCV meeting - EVEN WHEN RECORDING - incoming calls directly to you or from a queue will popup on screen AND YOU WILL HEAR THE RINGTONE. What in the hell were the developers thinking?? Did they honestly think this was an acceptable solution for business/enterprise users? RC support's "solution" is to have users manually turn on DND or turn off the "Accept queue calls" slider. Now I have 90 people (whom I can rarely get to remember to…

  17. With RC Meetings, we have the option to export list of attendees to a .csv file - this is necessary when customers request this for their records (to see who attended vs who didn't). Currently, with RCV, I log into v.ringcentral.com, go to the recordings tab (which is only available if you recorded the meeting) and manually type each participant name into an Excel sheet. For a group of 100+ people, this takes a really long time. Would love the ability to view and export the Participants list (even if I didn't record the meeting) to Excel/.csv. This would save…

  18. When the recording is completed it has a generic Name it should have the name of the Meeting that is being recorded. Once you download the file you can rename the file at that time but if you are using the link and or sharing it no way to rename the link to the recording.

  20. When you are sharing your screen with a classroom of students as a host, the gallery view of your students turns into a strip of about 4-5 only. There is no way to see the rest of the class until you stop sharing. In a classroom setting, this prohibits a teacher from having a discussion, as they can only see a few of their students while presenting material. It would be great (especially with dual monitors) to be able to maximize the entire gallery view with all participants on one screen and have the shared material on a second screen.
