SMS for Call Queues is coming-- as in if a text is sent to a call queue number, there will be an inbox available for one agent to respond to those SMS.
I know the core of this request is to have a shared SMS inbox where multiple people can send and receive SMS from the inbox. Our product teams are aware of this ask, but I do not have more information about if/when this segment of the ask is coming.

The inability to receive inbound faxes across all inboxes within the RingCentral application is creating inefficiencies and delays, particularly because fax communications are typically external and often time-sensitive. This should be something apart of your product offering within the application. This is an issue that should ideally fall within the scope of your development experience, as seamless communication is a fundamental requirement for most businesses.
Currently, the need to leave our primary workspace and rely on other systems for fax reception adds unnecessary steps and increases the risk of communication failures. These external systems are not under your control, nor ours, and over the years we’ve seen failures due to server outages, DNS issues, and encryption challenges. The reliance on email-based delivery outside of the RC platform increases exposure to risks like undelivered messages.
By enabling fax receipt directly in the RC application across all inboxes, you would not only reduce these external risks but also enhance communication flow and streamline service offerings for your clients. This improvement would allow businesses to remain within a single platform, reducing operation silos, and potential bottlenecks.
The importance of this feature seems clear: it would minimize the number of failure points and improve the overall user experience.
My question is why are you refusing to provide this feature?
