  3. The caller ID for the main company number is shown by default for any text messages sent from any individual extensions. The idea is similar to having caller ID show as the main company number rather than the individual extension.

  5. Currently, text messages that contain only photos are not logged into HubSpot. It would be beneficial if these messages could be logged, and ideally, the content of the screenshots could be integrated and displayed within HubSpot directly from RingCentral SMS.

    Business Impact:

    • Ensures all customer communications, including image-based messages, are fully tracked in HubSpot.

    • Provides a complete interaction history for agents and account managers.

    • Reduces the risk of missing important visual information shared by customers.

  6. RingCentral should provide the capability to manually opt out a number directly within the RingCentral app’s text tab and settings upon verbal request from clients or customers. This functionality would greatly enhance convenience for business owners and their customers by enabling them to efficiently and promptly process opt-out requests.

  8. The Admin Portal needs to have a feature where users with an extension can send a text message to the number, which will provide information depending on the users' questions, such as schedules.

    It will also be beneficial to customers to save time.

  11. Currently there is not a way to grant access to managers/supervisors to the SMS messages their team members send and receive. There is the ability to grant this type of access to user's call logs using User Groups. Would be great if SMS messages could be part of what is imparted with User Group permissions.

  14. BeeTexting is for the company phone numbers text messages. RingCentral App SMS icon should be used for the direct phone numbers SMS. Just like what the customer has in the RingCentral desktop/web app.

  15. Ability to Download SMS Logs with Custom Columns on the reports. Currently not able to download SMS logs with the Status column. It only downloads with fixed and specified columns which is not complete as listed on the admin portal.

I would like to be able to order the template texts alphabetically or what ever so that I can find them in a logical order. ie - all texts pertaining to Reminders, or Paperwork Due, etc. - I like and use the templates every day. I used to have a text file on the side of my RC that I would cut and paste into RC. So great addition!

  17. On the RingCentral desktop app, you used to be able to see the full SMS history when you went to create a new SMS text. Now when you create a new SMS text message, you don't see the history. It was super helpful to have the history there any time you created a new SMS message. The new functionality is not great for awareness of the most recent text message.

  18. When we copy/paste a screenshot or image into an SMS Text thread it just shows "image.png" and we have no way to confirm if it is the correct image sent to the correct customer/person. We deal with sensitive financial information and this risk bears great consequence for us. Please make a way to see the image that is being pasted into the SMS thread!!

  20. Prior to the newest update, when sending a new text, you would type in the number and click 'next' which would bring you to the entire text thread giving you the option to either call or text. This would also allow you to view the entire text thread. With this new update, doing the same function - sending a new text- it now has a pop up to create the text within this pop up window and 'send', NOT giving you the option to click 'next' and take you to the text thread. This is a major inconvenience to day…
