Enable Group SMS/MMS Support for Phone Numbers Using Sinch
Currently, phone numbers provisioned through the Sinch carrier do not support Group SMS/MMS functionality. This limitation severely impacts business communication workflows, especially for teams that rely on real-time, transparent group messaging with clients, partners, or internal departments.

"This is ridiculous. RingCentral is selling business phone numbers that can’t do basic group texting, and we have no way of knowing which numbers will work because the numbers are randomly tied to carriers we can’t see or choose.
This breaks real business workflows; replies don’t thread, conversations get lost, and we’re forced to either change published office numbers or use awkward workarounds.

This process is critical for Ring Central to continue to be our corporate solution. We will be evaluating alternatives in case this solution is not quickly enabled.
