  2. when I go to compose a new text on the desktop app or on the mobile version- it automatically checks the box for "add an opt out message" we want it to be unchecked as the automatic setting or default

    we don't send marketing or mass text messages so we don't want it to look like it's coming from a computer or like it was automated when it is not.

  3. Currently, phone numbers provisioned through the Sinch carrier do not support Group SMS/MMS functionality.   4. The caller ID for the main company number is shown by default for any text messages sent from any individual extensions. The idea is similar to having caller ID show as the main company number rather than the individual extension.

  6. RingCentral should provide the capability to manually opt out a number directly within the RingCentral app’s text tab and settings upon verbal request from clients or customers. This functionality would greatly enhance convenience for business owners and their customers by enabling them to efficiently and promptly process opt-out requests.

  7. Currently, text messages that contain only photos are not logged into HubSpot. It would be beneficial if these messages could be logged, and ideally, the content of the screenshots could be integrated and displayed within HubSpot directly from RingCentral SMS.

    Business Impact:

    • Ensures all customer communications, including image-based messages, are fully tracked in HubSpot.

    • Provides a complete interaction history for agents and account managers.

    • Reduces the risk of missing important visual information shared by customers.

  8. Option to disable/remove the verbiage such as OPT-OUT from MMS
    There is no option to disable/remove the additional verbiage in a MMS group chat.
    When sending a text to a group chat (MMS), each text being send has "Opt-out" verbiage.
    There must be an option to disable or remove it in every MMS being send

  10. Does RingCentral have the ability to send an e-mail notification to the user if a SMS message fails to send? I see where the user can be notified if a SMS is received.

  11. Currently, company main numbers and numbers associated with site extensions, user extensions, and message-only extensions cannot be used with the shared inbox. We are requesting that this capability be enabled so that these numbers can utilize the shared inbox functionality.

  14. Have a way to remove or disable the "Add Opt-out message" check box from the bottom of a text exchange. It does not need to apply to all text exchanges and we don't want to inadvertently check it.

I would like to be able to order the template texts alphabetically or what ever so that I can find them in a logical order. ie - all texts pertaining to Reminders, or Paperwork Due, etc. - I like and use the templates every day. I used to have a text file on the side of my RC that I would cut and paste into RC. So great addition!

  20. Upgrade Text Messaging Features to the RCS protocol in RingCentral.

    "The latest major standard for text messaging is Rich Communication Services (RCS), which provides modern features like high-resolution media sharing and improved group chats, as an upgrade to SMS/MMS."

    This request has been made before and has been "Under Review" since April 2022. It does not take over 3 years to upgrade an app to the latest feature especially when it is widespread.
