  3. Especially with numbers tied to either a mobile user, call queues, and/or message-only extensions to be used to receive faxes and calls. It would be nice to be able to use it as an outbound caller ID since the number is considered as a company number.

  4. Use Case: As an Insurance Agent, I want to be able to make calls from the RingCentral Mobile App and have the call logs sync to Salesforce to allow for my manager to generate activity reports. Current functionality does not allow call log activities taken on the RingCentral Mobile App to sync call log activities to Salesforce. The user is looking to run reports in Salesforce to have a more comprehensive overview of their insurance agents. This will greatly help to view agent productivity by seeing all activity within Salesforce.

  8. its 2024 nobody calls everything is texts, telus and rogers and every other service provides unlimited sms , seems kind of obvs, u guys r jus scamming ppl this is ridiculous, how can u call urself a phone service company and not have unlimited sms, theyve had that for over 10 years now,

  9. When sending a fax from the contacts using the RingCentral app, and the contacts have multiple numbers saved such as business, mobile, or fax. When choosing a contact to whom to send the fax the system should identify automatically which is the fax number. The current behavior is when you choose a contact on the contact list and try to send a fax to that contact with multiple numbers, it always sends to the first contact number and does not automatically send a fax to the fax number registered to the contact reason why the fax is failing because it…

In healthcare, we do a lot of faxing and our fax cover sheets include our company logo as well as HIPAA instructions as to what should be done in event of a HIPAA breach where a fax is sent erroneously to the wrong party. We would like to be able to upload a custom company coversheet and assign it via user template to all users, remove access to all other coversheets.

  14. This feature was present in previous versions but is missing in the current release. In my job, I juggle 9+ windows on 3 screens, and the call window often gets lost behind others during calls. Keeping it on top ensures easy access while multitasking.

When a user has MS Teams Mobile Mode enabled, they should have that clearly indicated and guiding them to the MS Teams to get full funcationliaty on the mobile app. As it works right now, users are just shown the dialpad and think there is an issue when they try and check their messages, place a fax, etc. While the intention is for them to do this in MS Teams, this is not clear in the RingCentral app the way it works now.

  17. Our calls all come in on a call queue, so the phone rings everybody in the office. If I know the call isn't for me, I would like to be able to ignore the call. Currently when I click "ignore", it stops ringing for a second, then just starts ringing again. So basically the ignore button does nothing. Can you make it so clicking ignore stops that call from ringing me (or anyone else who clicks ignore)?

  20. External guests are being blocked or automatically disabled after creating free accounts for RingCentral Messaging using either the browser version or the desktop app. Can't add external guest users to our contacts who are using a free account nor they can't use RingCentral Messaging at all.
