  1. Breakout Rooms : Broadcast Video, Audio, and Chat Messages

    PROBLEM:It is hard to coordinate activities between Breakout Rooms: Often times when you are doing a large event, like a workshop or conference or team event, you need to break out into separate teams for activities, but breakout rooms can be disconnected from one another which makes coordination between breakout rooms difficult. At certain times after breakout sessions, attendees need also to return to the Main Room, and this can be like herding cats. It can be challenging to coordinate and communicate with the separate Breakout teams when its time to return to the main Presentation Room, or provide instructions…

  3. Integrate chat comments/questions to slide # from presenter - Google Slide integration?

    It would be useful if we could integrate Google Slides into RCV so if someone makes a comment or has a question during a presentation, they could reference the slide number and the comment/question could be associated with a specific point in a presentation. The idea is if the person chats in RCV their comment would automatically be associated with the slide # that is being presented and be captured in Google Slides too.

  4. When using webcam, allow view of yourself to be minimized or merged into list of meeting attendees

    The view of yourself obscures the content and people you want to see.

    Customers would like the privacy aspect to allow hosts to hide the participant list from anyone that is not a host or moderator in order to maintain impartiality of their attendees

  6. Video recordings "play head" bookmark with comments & playing back video (see Soundcloud for example of what I mean)

    So many times I'm sitting in an hour or 2 hour long meeting that is being recorded, maybe a webinar. Do I have another two hours to go back and rewatch the whole meeting, NO WAY! What if I just want to go back to a specific part of the meeting? I can't do that in an easy and efficient way. I would love a feature where as I'm watching a meeting that is being recorded, I can see the timeline of the recording and "time stamp" or bookmark the play head of the video frame.   7. Always On Team Meetings

    It would be great if there could be an always on meeting available to teams that wold approximate a "war room" or coffee house for teams that are working hard on something and need to check in with one another whenever they need to, without scheduling meetings.

  8. Allow Rooms Connector user to press "Unmute" to unmute video conference system when muted by host.

    Currently when a host selects "Mute All," the video conference units connected to Room Connector must enter a feature code (press 1 followed by a menu selection to unmute).

    Customers who have also installed Crestron room system controllers want more than just audio integration to RC. They want the Crestron system to be able to start and control RCV meetings via the RC Rooms software.

    Instead of having to select each individual report in Service Web for Webinar reports (e.g. Registration, Attendance, Q&A, Polls, etc.), it would be helpful to have a single button to download all of the reports at once.

    Request is for the ability to include Chat transcripts as part of the meeting recording. Currently there is a separate Chat text file containing the messages.

  14. Ability to completely customize RCVings Email Template

    Customer would like the ability to customize the email template for an RCVing invite. Currently they can only add comments at the end of the invite, they would like the ability to simplify the wording and also remove the Room Connector dial-in details.

    Request is for the ability to manage scheduled meetings via Service Web, both as an end-user and administrator. As an administrator, it gives visibility into end-user's meetings and provides them with additional details for troubleshooting or managing user settings.

  17. Meeting Title To Include Subject from Invite

    Enhance the meeting experience by including the Subject line from an invite, or adding a field in scheduler to have a title of meeting that would populate the title bar to replace "RingCentral Meeting" then display meeting ID.

  18. Global account receive bandwidth settings

    The bandwidth produced by RCV can be up to 3x as high as RCM. This may cause overrun of ISP and CloudConnect link capacities for customers transitioning from RCM to RCV, requiring them to do an expensive network upgrade at possibly many enterprise sites, see https://jira.ringcentral.com/browse/RCVMQ-29. The requested bandwidth setting feature is also going to be important for the RCV webinar feature which may be implemented in the future because it produces a large amount of bandwidth.

  19. Sharing, but pop-ups like email and messaging 'grayed' out.

    Avega: Cool feature: I was on a webex recently where the moderator was sharing their desk top. When they were getting notifications or emails, the pop up on their screen were being redacted. I could see the pop up square, but the content was whited out. Note sure if this is a function of webex, browser or Microsoft OS but I think it is a great feature. However, I'm not sure if the moderator was sharing on an app or her PC. As in not her entire desktop.
