Share host Audio in RC Video in Desktop App
RingCentral Meetings and Zoom support sharing Host audio to a presentation. From our testing yesterday this is possible IF the RC Video session is started from the web app, but not if started from the all-in-one desktop app. Why:It is often useful for a host to share not just an image, but sound as well, in a meeting or presentation.
189 votesAnyone presenting — not just the host — can include system audio so participants hear shared video and audio clearly. This is supported when presenting from the desktop app on both Windows and macOS, with macOS support our most recent addition. See Sharing your screen with audio. -

Invite company team member to an active video call or screen share
From the invite participants button, there should be an option to send a direct message to a company team member, and/or the ability to call their extension. Currently, the option to call by phone does access my contact list or allow me to enter a fellow team members extension. If I use the desktop app to call them, or they call me, there has to be an easy way to merge or move that call to an existing meeting.Case example. I am hosting a screen share (or video meeting) with someone. I want to invite a colleague to this meeting.…

Multiple Hosts for Reoccurring Meetings
We have several team members that would like to start our daily conference call, but currently we are limited to having one main host. That main host can then add other co-hosts or change who the host is but we would like the ability to have more than one host to start the meeting.

Share video cloud recording with external parties
We would like to share links to cloud meeting recordings as we need to share this information with clients for trainings, for example. We would like to be able to share these meeting recordings without having to download the file and send the recording to the client/customer.

Feature to rename participants in RCV
126 votesA meeting host can rename guests and PSTN dial-in participants, both in the waiting room and during the meeting, across the RingCentral app on desktop and mobile and on the browser. Would like to add the feature to add a co-host on RingCentral Video when scheduling a meeting. This is when I am on a vacation and has a scheduled recurring meeting. I do not want to stay on meeting first before assigning someone as host moderator.

Show my connection status when I'm sharing. And let me mute myself.
when I'm sharing I have no idea if my connection satisfies requirement to share.also I don`t know if anyone can hear me.and I'd like to have an option rapidly mute myself if something happening when I'm sharing. So my proposal is to enrich floating top panel with two buttons. One for mute/unmute. And another for looking connection details when it clicked (not hovering, but exactly clicked)

Bring back the pause screen share feature
The ability to pause your screen share is extremely helpful. For instance, while your client is asking a question, you pause the share to locate the information in order to answer their question. This was something you were always able to do using RingCentral Meetings, but has been discontinued under RingCentral Video. This feature also sets you apart from most other web conference platforms.
63 votesA presenter can pause and resume screen sharing whenever they need to. This is available in video meetings on the desktop app.. See Using screen sharing in the new RingCentral Video meetings experience.
