    This became a big issue for us recently when we rolled out the new group SMS features. We previously had our customer-facing numbers assigned as Site Numbers, but we needed to switch them to Call Queue numbers to allow for group SMS access for the Call Queue members. When we made this switch, an unintended consequence was we could no longer set outbound caller ID with our User Settings templates.

    RingCentral maintains multiple data sites and nodes to ensure core user and account data can be preserved in the unlikely event of a site disruption. While customer-initiated backup of all settings and configurations is not presently offered, there are policies and procedures in place to assist customers who may encounter a significant data loss. Any customer who experiences such an event should engage RingCentral immediately.

    I would like to be able to back up and restore all configuration settings from the Admin Portal to a file, to be able to be restored in the event they are lost. This should include at the least everything in the Phone System menu, and User Settings Templates. We have spent many dozens of hours configuring our system, so we want to be sure we have all this information saved in case it is lost somehow.
