Description:
We would like to request a new functionality for the video conferencing service. Currently, the system does not allow users to share files, URLs, or documents in the meeting chat at any time. This limitation reduces the effectiveness of collaboration during meetings, as participants cannot exchange supporting materials directly within the platform.
Justification:
The ability to share files, links, and documents directly in the meeting chat is essential for productive collaboration, training, and customer-facing interactions. Competing platforms already provide this functionality, enabling users to exchange information seamlessly without relying on external channels. Adding this feature will align the service with market standards and significantly enhance the overall meeting experience.
Requested Enhancement:
Enable users to upload and share files, URLs, and documents directly in the meeting chat.
Ensure that shared content is accessible to all participants during and after the meeting (according to chat retention policies).
The feature should be secure, easy to use, and should not disrupt the meeting flow.
