  1. Manager over IT service desk would like to monitor calls that come into a specific call queue and not the individual user extensions (the manager does not want to accidentally monitor a user's personal call).

Currently users are forced to choose between the softphone application or a paired desk phone as the default device for calling out in the desktop app. Please consider a more unified experience where a user can select the app or device they want to use to make an outbound call on demand each time they initiate an outbound call and/or give better options for assigning the outbound device. This could be as simple as putting a dropdown on the main screen of the app where you select your primary calling device, or picklist everytime you click something in the app…

  3. When hot desk phones are in the logged out state, they display the tenant super admin's extension and the clock in the super admin's time zone. This should be customizable. I have hot desk phones in multiple locations in different time zones but now many of them show the wrong time as only a single time zone is allowed for all.

  4. For a place with a large number of phones it would be helpful to have the assigned extension number show up on the phone without needing to add it to the user name. That way people can quickly determine what phone extension the phone is.

  5. I've noticed that when not using RC but logged in (running in the background idle) it will change the status for users from a green dot to a gray dot (offline). Even though users are available for a call. Fellow coworkers think the user is offline when in reality they are not. This behavior is counterintuitive- It seems to me that a new idle status would work as opposed to showing user offline. Or maintain current status of available

  8. Introduce a new feature to the Analytic Performance Report that allows users to apply a handle time filter specifically for instances when users are actively engaged in calls. This feature will differentiate between the handle time contributed by users during their active engagement on calls and the total call duration, including transferred calls. The objective is to enable the accurate calculation of user handle time during their active participation in calls.

  9. In addition to forwarding caller id's when transferring calls, need to do the same for calls that are 1st parked and then picked up. Currently, when a parked call is picked up its id is Park or something like that.

  11. I'm trying to find a way to remotely uninstall all ringCentral so that I can reinstall the RingCentral MSI and fix this. We have around 300 desktops and while not all of them are having this problem, I can't go computer to computer uninstalling this by hand.

  16. Would like to have an option of choosing which location on the computer to save files like voicemail, recording, and others. It is very inconvenient to manually locate the file on the downloads folder and save it in a different location, instead of once downloaded you have the option to save it anywhere on your computer.

  17. Right now the only way to force a user to log out of the mobile app is to disable the extension which causes immediate logout on both the desktop and the mobile app. To avoid disruption we'd like an option to force log out only one one app or the other as well as both.
