    Details : Customer would like to integrate MS Teams with BT Cloud Work. They've downloaded the app and connected it, but when they try to use it to make calls it asks the user to download the RingCentral App (they have the BT branded app installed).   3. Personalize User Status in RingCentral for Microsoft Teams

    It would be a great idea if we could personalize the user status when on a call using RingCentral for Microsoft Teams. At the moment when the user is on a call, it is showing "Busy" and it would be great if we could change it to "On a Call"

    Currently, we do not have an option to disable the 'Call waiting audio alert' in RC for Teams Embedded App.

    The only option available is to enable/disable the 'Call waiting' option.

    Hello,
    I'm trying to install the RingCentral for Teams Desktop Plugin for about 80 users (I'm a RingCentral Partner). I see that there's an EXE and an MSI for IT, but the MSI says "Non Auto Update." Can I deploy the EXE Silently since that auto-updates? If so, how?

    Or can I add a switch to the MSI to allow it to auto-update?

    Currently, RC app teams have the video call feature to call everyone on that team. To avoid data breach, the customer wanted to have an option to turn this off/on account wide and or user based.

  15. MS Teams contacts to display the extension number on the contact list

    "Some users show up with a RingCentral "R" next to their name, and others do not, even though all users have licenses and extensions in RingCentral. The users with the "R" have "sources" for the contact - and only list RingCentral. There are users with both RingCentral AND Microsoft Teams as their "source"

    This changes some behavior in the Teams integration. Users with both Teams and RingCentral "sources" will not display the user's extension in the contact book next to their name; instead, you have to click the user to see their extension."

  16. RC for MS Teams features and difference with RC App

    Please send articles explaining why we might want to use Microsoft teams with ring central versus it being separate. Also, why SMS are removed when MS Teams Mobile mode is enabled.

  17. MS Teams Embedded App to work with Chromebooks

    The RingCentral plugin for Teams requires users to install a plugin that only works for Windows and Mac machines.

    It would be great if there is an alternative to use the plugin on Chrome OS devices.

  18. Ability to pop-out embbeded dialer on MS teams

    Customer wants to have the ability to separate the RingCentral embedded dialer on MS teams, like the one we have on RC app where you can pop out the dial pad and move it to separate screen.

    Need to use the Conference Phone to join the meeting in RC Embedded App for MS Teams. Our available feature only is thru RC Meetings and use Dial In to utilize physical / conference phone.
