BT Cloud Work for Microsoft Teams
Details : Customer would like to integrate MS Teams with BT Cloud Work. They've downloaded the app and connected it, but when they try to use it to make calls it asks the user to download the RingCentral App (they have the BT branded app installed). If they download the RC app it doesn't allow them to log in.Significance of the feature : Customer advised that they use MS Teams a lot for their business and would like to integrate it with BT Cloud WorkCurrent behavior : Microsoft Teams embedded dialer is only available for RingCentral accounts

Personalize User Status in RingCentral for Microsoft Teams
It would be a great idea if we could personalize the user status when on a call using RingCentral for Microsoft Teams. At the moment when the user is on a call, it is showing "Busy" and it would be great if we could change it to "On a Call"

MS Teams presence status change in Audit Trail
Currently, every time a user changes their status in MS Teams/Teams Embedded App, it shows in the Audit Trail in the Admin Portal, which causes the logs to become cluttered, making it difficult to track other important activities.
We are looking for an option to prevent these status change logs from appearing in the audit trail.

RC for Teams installer
Hello,
I'm trying to install the RingCentral for Teams Desktop Plugin for about 80 users (I'm a RingCentral Partner). I see that there's an EXE and an MSI for IT, but the MSI says "Non Auto Update." Can I deploy the EXE Silently since that auto-updates? If so, how?Or can I add a switch to the MSI to allow it to auto-update?

Ability to remove RCV icon on the RingCentral Desktop app Teams
Currently, RC app teams have the video call feature to call everyone on that team. To avoid data breach, the customer wanted to have an option to turn this off/on account wide and or user based.

MS Teams contacts to display the extension number on the contact list
"Some users show up with a RingCentral "R" next to their name, and others do not, even though all users have licenses and extensions in RingCentral. The users with the "R" have "sources" for the contact - and only list RingCentral. There are users with both RingCentral AND Microsoft Teams as their "source"
This changes some behavior in the Teams integration. Users with both Teams and RingCentral "sources" will not display the user's extension in the contact book next to their name; instead, you have to click the user to see their extension."

Please send articles explaining why we might want to use Microsoft teams with ring central versus it being separate. Also, why SMS are removed when MS Teams Mobile mode is enabled.

The RingCentral plugin for Teams requires users to install a plugin that only works for Windows and Mac machines.
It would be great if there is an alternative to use the plugin on Chrome OS devices.

Ability to pop-out embbeded dialer on MS teams

Microsoft Teams to ring first in call handling
As Microsoft Teams integration is growing, where that is the primary endpoint to make and receive calls, Microsoft Teams (existing phone) should be able to be at the first position under call handling. In the situation where a customer needs 99.999% stability because their business depends on receiving and making calls, then they'd need the RC app open on their desktop in case the call never made it to MS Teams, therefore MS Teams would need to be number 1 in a sequential call handling list.
