  3. While testing inbound calls into my RingCentral extension, I noticed that I do not get notifications on my cell phone's MS Teams with the RingCentral embedded app. If I log in to the RingCentral mobile app, I do get notified but only on the RingCentral mobile app.

  4. Every time I click on the RingCentral integration in Teams it defaults to the Phone tab.In Settings, I can see you can change the tab order. I did this and put HUD first, however, it still defaults to loading the Phone tab whenever I click into RingCentral. It would be nice to be able to set the default tab (unless of course there is good reason for Phone loading) as I'm more interested in seeing the presence than the dialer and call history.

  5. The only thing we found was the Teams integration is great but does not stand alone on its own. For us and they way we work, if the RC app has to be installed along with the plug in to work with Teams, it almost is not needed since the RC app has to be there anyways, we feel it would just be more beneficial to just use the RC app on its own.If there is a way for it to stand alone on the Teams RC app on its own, we would be more wanting to use it

  6. Use Case: Employees use MS Teams as their primary collaboration and video conference tool. RingCentral is the phone, SMS, and fax service provider. Employees rely on RingCentral's MS Teams Embedded Dialer.Problem: Employees don't have a way to quickly determine how many unread messages they have by looking that the RingCentral icon in Team. If they a user walked away from their desks for a few minutes, they may have missed a critical SMS, voicemail, or fax that needs to be responded to urgently.Feature request: Add an unread message counter to the main icon of our MS Teams Embedded Dialer. 12. RingCentral for MS Teams 2.0 Embedded Dialer: limit RingCentral communication to RingCentral users.(ware malcomb UID:63084070023)During a recent MS Teams Embedded dialer POC, it seems RingCentral communication was sent to non RingCentral users via MS Teams. (see attached image 1)
per prospect: "Our users continue to get unwanted alerts from RingCentral that some are reporting as phishing or scams. Perhaps it’s time for us to create a group to control the communication?"
RC SE installed MS Teams embedded for 6 users (see image 2)

  13. In really like the current integration with Teams and how it integrates with scheduling perfectly, but I was a bit disappointed to find out that you can't make a video call, only audio. Teams call quality is generally pretty bad and I was hoping to utilize the power of RingCentral. Also I think this would be a big selling point for you guys, if video meetings were possible through the Teams app, this would eliminate the need to have Zoom for this kind of use case.

  17. The request is to add a "Call Queue Management" tab to the Teams Embedded Dialer experience that shows all the queues and subsequent agents. Additionally, give that same tab a view into Live Reports and allow the queue manager to select a dashboard that they have permission to use. This will give managers a quick way to look at what Call Queue agents are available, see a Live Reports Dashboard with Queue Stats, and make adjustments to Call Queue agent availability as needed within the Teams Embedded Dialer integration.

  18. We have a group within Ring Central, when internal calls from Microsoft Teams other people and services come through they are showing the extension number, rather than showing the Microsoft Teams information of users or service. We do not use extension numbers, as we use Microsoft Teams as our interface for calling which provides all the information in Active Directory, (name, site, full number). When this is displayed it does not mean anything to the person answering the call, so when answering the phone we have no idea who is calling to start with which is hindering our customer services through…

  19. The Users are using Bridge Operator Console for RingCentral to make/receive and transferring calls. When we transfer calls to another user through Bridge, the voicemails are being saved in the RC app. We would like that to be saved in MS Teams instead.

  20. With the passing of Ray Baum's Act (effective 1/6/2022), our current or prospective Direct Routing customers for Microsoft Teams will begin to examine whether RingCentral MVP can "process" PIDF-LO information originating from the MS Teams environment. Currently we do not. Customer preference will be to maintain emergency address/location information from within their MS Teams Admin Center environment, as opposed to being forced to manually change/update address/location information within ServiceWeb. Users in this type of environment will simply refuse to do the manual updating within ServiceWeb. I personally am already hearing of customers where this will become an issue and may…
