This should set the user's extension to Do Not Disturb for normal Calendar meetings, not just Ring Central Video meetings. It should set the user's extension to Do not Disturb, so that it blocks calls to the softphone app as well as the desk phone when the user is in a meeting.

For a Phone System, especially Contact Center, the ability to schedule updates to Non-Business Hours is CRITICAL. I can't believe this doesn't already exist.

This was brought to your attention over 3 years ago and it is still under consideration. The user above is only referring to Ring Central Video Meetings.
What is purpose of the Setting in the Ring Central App under Video titled "Allow incoming calls while in a meeting", if this is simply a future consideration.
This switch, should send calls to Voicemail if the app status is "in a Meeting" regardless of whether the user is in a Ring Central Video Meeting, or some other meeting.Lee supported this idea ·

It would be very nice to allow users to choose to block all calls while in a Meeting of any kind, not simply a Ring Central Video Meeting. The Ring Central Video meetings are a very small percentage of the meetings on my calendar, as I have no control over the UC product used by one of our vendors when scheduling a call.
Also, for my purposes, the current functionality where calls are prevented from coming into the Desktop App for Ring Central Video Meetings, while still allowing the Desk phone and mobile phones to ring is backwards. I would prefer to block, or silence, the calls on the desk phone and mobile and have the desktop app pop , so that I could easily see who is calling and choose to send the call to voicemail.
There is already a feature to change the status on the desktop app and mobile to "In a Meeting" when you are in a meeting. There should be the ability to choose to set the status to Do not Disturb while in a meeting.
