  1. Attached I have a text chat with 4 URLs in it. For some reason RC is only parsing one of them as a URL. The rest behave as plain text. Position in the message doesn't seem to matter either, if the .org URL is in the middle of a message it will still be parsed as a URL and RC will create a hyperlink for it. When I log in the following day, open up Ring Central and go to take a call, the client is often bugged out and the call never comes through which If I were one of our customers that just waited on hold for 30 minutes only to find the person that connected can't hear me, it would piss me off. I've come to realize this is because the Application NEVER CLOSES when you press the close button. If I wanted to minimize it I would press the MINIMIZE button.   5. We use the softphone in the RC app to lookup contacts and transfer calls. I feel like the internal people's status should be shown. It would be nice to see it there so you don't have to look at multiple things to figure it out.

  6. Using the HUD in the Desktop App, you can add your internal RingCentral contacts to your desk phones. It would be a huge quality of life upgrade to have the ability to add any of your contacts, whether RingCentral, or for example, synced from Outlook, to your desk phone's display through the HUD.

  7. It is currently not possible to pause or stop recordings when the automatic call recording feature is turned on. We would like to have that ability. The current method to pause or stop a recording is only available with the on-demand (manual) recording process. Our employees may not remember to start a recording every call - and we may have some people who call and do not want to be recorded. The same option to press *9 to pause an on-demand recording should work for automatic recordings.

  8. Please consider providing a way to set a red "Busy" Status manually without blocking message sounds the way the "Do Not Disturb" Status does in Ring Central (Classic).

    Preferably a customizable Status where you could put a Red busy color, and then type in the reason for "Busy" (i.e. - Away, Training, etc ...).

It will be a great feature to allow the RingCentral app to copy contacts from multiple cells of an excel spreadsheet and have it pasted on the To: field or alternatively, to allow uploading of multiple contacts via csv file to make sending out SMS in bulk easier, instead of having to type the contact names or number one by one,

  11. If a user is in an appointment, away for an extended period, or on lunch, it would be helpful to forward the calls to a receptionist. Currently the call forwarding feature can only be enabled during specific times. It would be helpful to allow the user to enable call forwarding by changing their status to "do not disturb" or adding a new "call forwarding" status. That way it can be easily enabled when they know they will be away.

When colleagues leave the company, any direct messages with them and/or with other people disappears from the left panel in the desktop app. The only way to find it is to search for a keyword in the conversation and then open that conversation from search results. This is very tedious to do each time we need to refer to it. I've tried to convert it to a team but that option is not present on conversations with terminated employees.   17. Customers receive email notifications from RingCentral requesting that Users change their Passwords, PINs and Security Questions. Unfortunately, there is not currently a method where Super Admins (or similar) can force these Password, PIN and Security Question "resets" upon their Users.

  18. The request is to allow a department fax inbox within RingEX Application. Currently, users can see their own fax inbox, but it would be helpful to also have access to faxes that arrive to shared fax accounts within the RingEX Application. This would eliminate the need to use email to deliver the fax to multiple users, which could pose a security problem for PII. It would keep the document protected within the application and make it easily accessible for multiple users.

  19. There should be an option which allows users to setup a backup number which will be enabled automatically in times of a power interruption or network outage. This feature was available when we were still with Vonage.
