  1. The availability of Voicemail to Text Option even if HIPAA is activated on the account. This would really help us a lot. It would benefit us not having to listen to every voicemail message we receive if it is being transcribed to us.

The status feature (Available, On a Call, In a Meeting, DND, etc.) is a great feature but currently only shows in the messaging section and when you open a contacts profile in the RingCentral desktop app.This makes it essentially useless for us as our main use of the RingCentral app is for making/receiving voice calls.I am requesting that the status be made visible in the following locations in the RingCentral app:Main searchBrowsing contacts list (without opening profile)Searching contacts in DialerSearching contacts when transferring or conferencing a callMost importantly, we need to be able to see this status when transferring calls…

  3. It would be really great to have a custom forwarding rule based on RingCentral Contacts that have a specific tag or category. This would make the routing of calls directly to the appropriate extension much faster and easier.

  4. GIFs tend to be a major form of communication these days. GIFs are possible in team messaging, but not in SMS texting as far as i can see.

  5. we have an IVR which feeds off to a user (Dial-By Ext Ext. 406) this user is set NOT to ring and has a long custom voicemail asking clients to use DTMF tones to locate an advisor or return to the main menu.it appears a lot of the missed calls which I am not part of any group to received incoming calls.

  7. We send so many texts a day and it would be super helpful to be able to categorize them in folders. For example, a marketing folder, a working on folder, waiting for information folder....etc. Instead of having to wade through hundreds of texts to find the right one.

  10. Hi! Can we do a hand off option when transferring the call? There is a merge option but when a person who initiated it ended the call, the phone call ends altogether. Can we do it so that 3 phone calls is together on 1 line for a proper hand off and once the person who transferred the line can end his line alone and not disconnected other persons? This will be very helpful so the customer knows that we indeed connected him/her/them to other line and thus creating a more interactive and professional vibe.

  11. We need the ability to warm transfer a caller to an external number, brief the 3rd party and then bring the original caller back onto the line with all parties to make an introduction. Right now the only option is to create a conference call on RC Phone (which has a conference greeting).

Goal: Record & change announcement on the go.Idea 1: Allow direct login to announcement Only ext on the mobile app. User can then record directly from the app.Benefit: It would be very beneficial to be able to update announcements on the go through the mobile app without having to sit down by a PC & log in to change the announcement.Alternate Idea: Enable phone call in method to update the announcement. User would dial a phone number to login & authenticate. User would then be able to listen to current announcement or change announcement.

  14. It is very time consuming to have to look up a clients extension because it cannot be stored in the contacts. When I asked someone in your company they suggested I add the extension to the persons last name, that is a very clumsy fix.
