Disable Recording Function for Specific Users
There are certain members in our company that should never have their calls recorded. Since a lot of people work from home, they should be able to have privileged conservations without the line being recorded.

We're looking for the ability to choose individuals and/or groups that can record meetings. Call recording should also have similar controls. This should not take away from the global settings to enable or disable the functionality for the entire account.

Thanks for clarifying Chad, we've changed this idea back to Needs Review.

Respectfully, this only works for external calls. My extension is set to do not record incoming or outgoing calls, but if I make an internal call to an extension set to record all calls, my call to that extension is recorded.

Hello there! You can configure the call recording through your Admin Portal and disable some of the extension with automatic call recording. Go to https://support.ringcentral.com, and look for "How to Configure Users and Groups to Automatically Record Calls"Thank you!

We are just coming over to RingCentral from an on-prem solution. This is a feature that we are losing by moving to Ring Central.Currently inside Ring Central Admin portal you have the ability to Record Incoming CallsRecord Outbound CallsNew Option Do Not Record ExtensionThe scenario is the CEO or other C-Suite Employee who's calls are not being recorded. CEO calls an employee who's calls are recorded and then you have the Situation where C-Suite call is being recorded. The do not record should override other settings.Simple request is add option for calls to not be Recorded. How the options would be selected in my exampleRecord Incoming Calls - NoRecord Outbound Calls - NoDo Not Record Extension - Yes
