  1. Essentially, we are using the web version of RingCentral as we use Linux (Ubuntu Mate) and it all works fine, except for the extension. If it has to use the google extension, then it is missing functionality that the web app has (in this case - we need the extension to have the "ask first" option on Transfers, which is doesn't.

  2. Integrate Ring Central with our point of sale, Repair Desk, so that when we are logged into Repair Desk and a customer call comes through, the customers info will come up and what repair they currently have in our store.

Guest accounts (B2B Collabaration Users) in Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure AD) should not sync along with regular contacts (Members) when using the MS Teams embedded dialer app. At a minimum, there should be an option to include or exclude Members/Guests when syncing Contacts.Many organizations use B2B Collaboration to provide single sign-on to their customers which causes large numbers of user records and it is not normal behavior for apps to sync these records by default when syncing contact records.   5. Please create a firmware/profile version for the Poly CCX 700 for RingCentral MVP. Just like the "MS Teams" or "Zoom" profiles you can select from, there should be a "RingCentral MVP". So that you can utilize all the features of the CCX 700. Join Video Meetings, see your MVP Profile etc.

  6. We are using the RC integration into teams. If someone calls and we press reply and choose "I will call you back in 10 minutes", it says that phrase to the customer.
    The customer then has 5 options, for example, press 2 to leave a voicemail, 3 to respond Yes, 4 to respond No, or 5 to respond "Call me Urgently".
    If the customer chooses 3, 4 or 5, we are only getting a notification if the user has the RC tab in Teams open at the time. If they have teams open but are on the chat page, the…

  9. Hi, it would be so great if there was a way to remove the lengthy pause that follows the greeting, just before the “let me connect you automated voice” step. It can be confused as a connection error or call drop.

  10. It would be a great idea if we could personalize the user status when on a call using RingCentral for Microsoft Teams. At the moment when the user is on a call, it is showing "Busy" and it would be great if we could change it to "On a Call"

  11. On occasion a user doesn't realize their Salesforce extension is not logged in. This causes calls to not be logged. The extension is minimized so the user doesn't see the Sign-in button. It would be helpful if the minimized extension would have a visual indicator that it is not logged in.

  12. Within the MS Teams RC Embedded Dialer app 2.0 can the RC App Chat be added? I use Teams and RCA to talk to both sets of customers and it would be great to work within one app and not both. So I can have all my RCA chats and groups with customers and RC staff as well as my Teams chats.

  14. We have implemented the integration between RingCentral and Dynamics 365, and it is working. Our user base has asked us if we can change the screen pop to open in a new tab, as if they are working on in a Dynamics screen and they receive an incoming call the screen pop in the current tab overrides what they are currently working on and they are losing work.I cannot see a setting that request the pop open in a new tab, are we able to do this, and if so can you point me in the direction of the setting…

  17. Our CRM can't take over the call after it rings the RingCentral number, and It is going to RingCentral voicemail. If the calls are not answered after 20s, The calls should be answered by our CRM Voicemail system.

  18. The only thing we found was the Teams integration is great but does not stand alone on its own. For us and they way we work, if the RC app has to be installed along with the plug in to work with Teams, it almost is not needed since the RC app has to be there anyways, we feel it would just be more beneficial to just use the RC app on its own.If there is a way for it to stand alone on the Teams RC app on its own, we would be more wanting to use it

  19. We have MS Teams Integration using the PBX Portal and the ring time for all ringcentral phones needs to be set to 6 Ring/30 Seconds or higher. As our MS Teams environment is set to 4 Ring/20 Seconds. This allows all call handling to be handled by MS Teams. If the ring times are the same or RingCentral is lower, MS Teams doesn't handle the calls correctly.We manually have to change this setting on each phone when a user is created. We have a fully automated process that requires no input besides setting the Ring Time setting.
