  2. Ability to send SMS inside HubSpot Help Desk conversations/tickets.
    Right now, RingCentral mainly integrates with HubSpot as a CRM communication app, not as a fully native Help Desk SMS channel like some providers

  4. It would be awesome if there were a way to combine the two-log a call, take notes into the call log panel, then when you click “save” those notes are combined into the contact card that is auto-created.

  5. Currently, SMS that are blocked by RingCentral, for example using link shortener are still showing as sent in Hubspot. We think that if the SMS is blocked then it should not show up on the record or should show up with some indication it was blocked and not received if this is possible.

  10. Unlike some competing integrations that support a centralized “service account” or “global admin” authorization model to sync data for all users simultaneously, the current RingCentral for HubSpot integration uses a 1:1 user authorization mapping.

    Because of this design, each individual user must complete their own authorization step to establish the connection between RingCentral and HubSpot. If a user does not complete authorization, calls may still function normally on the RingCentral side, but call logging and integration-related sync features within HubSpot will not work for that user.

    It would be beneficial to introduce an option that allows HubSpot or RingCentral admins…

    Call Recordings for RingCentral are available for playback within the HubSpot ecosystem for each call recording and object that is created with a recording. The recording is always stored on the RingCentral side and is not available to be stored within the HubSpot environment due to storage limits

  12. The Call Waiting feature is currently available only in the RingCentral desktop and web applications and is not supported within the RingEX for HubSpot CTI dialer. When a call is received on Line 2 while another call is active in the CTI, the incoming call must be manually ignored.

    As an alternative, you may configure RingEX for HubSpot to use the RingCentral desktop application for calling by navigating to Settings > Calling and selecting RingCentral App. This allows calls to be handled through the standalone RingCentral application, where call waiting and other calling features are supported.

  13. It would be great if all my hubspot contacts were listed under "hubspot contacts." Right now we have internal contacts and personal contacts. All HubSpot contacts sync to my personal contacts, and the limit is 10,000. All contacts from HubSpot are shared within the company, so they really aren't personal contacts. Now, if I want to create a personal contact, I have to go into my admin portal, delete a contact, and then hurry and add my personal contact.   14. Basically i am trying to setup a workflow, based on call ended trigger.
    After failing all attempts to get contacts enrolled in that, i contact Hubspot support for an advice.
    They only could suggest this

    "But because the calls are coming from an integration, we rely on the information they shared with us and how this information is sent to us. If they don't share the engagement ID we need in order to trigger an even workflow, our hands are tied" .Is there any way to push this engagement ID into hubspot? Or any workaround that may be you suggested…

  15. Currently, the ACE HubSpot integration provides some additional/different info/insights than the RC for HubSpot integration, which provides embedded call recording playback among some other unique info.

    If both integrations are enabled and configured for automatic logging, duplicate call logs are created which skews call/log data in HubSpot.

    Cross-functionality between both integrations that allows for a single log per call that contains all of the information that both integrations provide would be immensely helpful and would improve log accuracy within the HubSpot environment.

  16. Requesting the ability to add personalized user tokens in text templates within the RC for HubSpot integration.

    Added automation will allow for engaging with clients using more personalized messaging and will save time that is otherwise spent on manually personalizing an outgoing text message to include a user's name and other info.

  18. HubSpot integration with Ring Central should provide voicemail logging. All businesses want to know if their customer leaves a voicemail. The HubSpot native caller has this integration and the system natively supports recording voicemails, so there should be a means to do similar with the Ring Central integrations.
