I understand that the original request specifies 911 notification routing based on the called number. However, if we implemented site-based 911 notification routing, would that still meet the requirements, as Craig mentioned in his comment below? I would appreciate your feedback.

Our situation is a little different, we would like 911 notifications by site. One site might be a hospital with a public safety department, while another site might be off-campus office hoteling space not served by an internal public safety department. In that case, notifications would go specific people at that site. Each site should allow for multiple alert recipients.

As a hospital, this is critical for us. We need to be able to release device firmware updates to test groups, then proceed at a minimum site-by-site. A better solution would be to designate update groups so that we knew that, for instance, no more than half of the phones in the emergency department might update at the same time. It would be a bad thing if they all happened to grab the update at the same time and were unavailable for 10 minutes. We also need the ability to delay the firmware updates if, say, there's a mass casualty event and the hospital is slammed. The portal should let us see and report on the firmware versions each device is running as well.

Rob, if you haven't stumbled across this you can back into this by downloading a user list from the admin portal. Go to users, users with extensions, click the three dots on the right side, and choose Download User List. ERL is in column Y of the download spreadsheet. That's not as useful for ongoing checks as it would be to have it right in the portal but if you hadn't seen it might help for periodic reviews

Travis' suggestion for notification lists by ERL is excellent. We have hundreds of ERLs though, so would appreciate the ability to create a default notification list by site and then optionally revise the list by ERL. "Inpatient building default notification list = person1, person2, public safety". For "inpatient building psychiatry department, use default notification list + psychiatry on-call".
