The Office files malicious third-parties send as email attachments will almost always be in the old .doc, xls or .ppt format, because this way you have no way of knowing they contain a macro that is going to automatically activate when you open the file.

This would be hugely beneficial for all companies. We frequently have to use workarounds like uploading the larger files to sharepoint just to get them over to the support team. As we are encouraged by our TAM to reach out to support, being able to upload large file sizes right away would make the process more efficient for all parties.
