We’ve spent countless hours with RingCentral Support about this issue, and every time it’s the same answer: “The dev team is looking into it.” But nothing changes.
With MS Teams Mobile Mode enabled, users only see a dial pad in the RingCentral app. No messaging, faxes, or messages—just confusion. There’s no clear indication that they need to switch to the Teams app for full functionality. Even if they know, the process is clunky: open Teams → tap three dots → select RingCentral → log in every time (no SSO, no biometrics, no session memory).
It’s 2025. This is unacceptable. This setup slows our team down significantly, especially our sales and inside sales folks who rely on quick, easy access to communication tools throughout the day. Instead, they’re constantly jumping through hoops just to place a call.
To make it worse, this idea has been “Under Review” since May 24, 2023, with zero updates. This is the final straw for us. We’re moving on to a provider that offers a smooth, modern Teams integration and there are several.
If RingCentral wants to stay competitive, this needs to be fixed.
