My comments also state that with the method used above, the senders make many attempts to resend and there are fax tones heard on the deluge of voicemails with a handshake sound. In the medical industry, it is imperative that senders get an incomplete notification yet many are sent from large providers or insurance carriers and it is a human that must notice and then reach out to the intended recipient to retry. If there is a failing, we are all culpable and the patients health will likely suffer.

An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedAt the bare minimum, the main company Telephone number should not publish at the top of the recipients fax, or we should be given an option to turn it on or off. See my other vote/comment about "fax TN tied to site level or company level" to be used by others as Caller ID which shows up as the company main fax.

Currently, the fax number can only be used by others if it is assigned at the "site" level so then only those who are also assigned to that site can use it. We have 52 locations and many in administration that would need to send on behalf of various locations. We were previously assigning fax numbers at the company level but late November 2023 the RC updates broke that and now with all the custom rules for each site and the TN in the auto receptionist, only the main company telephone number will appear for fax users who are not also assigned at the site level. major problem!

Coming later in 2023, users will be able to select their outbound number in the separate messaging window (not just in settings). This only addresses outbound caller ID.
