An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedUnfortunately, the system only allows forwarding of voicemails to "personal contacts" versus Company Contacts, and only by the user, not in the service web portal by administration. There is another feature request asking to be able to export the Company Contacts so that they can be imported as Personal Contacts, for this same purpose of forwarding emails. Note that if this were possible, only the users that appear in the company directory would be exported whereas it would be nice to be able to see all users to select who we want to export or to be able to sort via Excel before importing. It would be best to be able to avoid all of that and just do a lookup of who you want to forward a message to, either by name or extension.

An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedThis seems like it should be a basic feature. The system also does not allow exporting of the company contacts at the admin nor user level in order to import them into the personal contacts which would then allow forwarding the voicemails.

An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedSee two other matching requests for turning the fax off and notifying the sender that the TN is not receiving faxes for a period of time or permanently. Too often we get a TN for our dedicated voice only extensions but find the "messages" tab and call log mudied up with faxes that the sender believes was received. If we change the TN from fax and phone to voice only, the user hears fax tones when they answer and if they do not answer there are voicemails for the multiple attempts that are failed.

Indeed, this was a surprise change that shortened the number of characters which I had been using to describe the user, and history of prior users on the extension. Perhaps an actual "notes" field would be helpful at the user level where notations could be made by administration that would not be visible to the user. I have wanted this to put in my own ticketing notes for a user as well.
