Submitting this idea request on behalf of customer, Crown Packaging: The new RingCentral desktop app UI is lacking detail in the "Phone" app. For example, the previous interface showed team member's extensions, but the new interface does not show that detail. The new Phone interface has a lot of blank white space. Rather than have all of that dead space, can the call detail area on the left be enlarged further to the right to be able to pull in the extension?

  11. We are sending texts to our clients all the time. To personalize this, we sometimes like to instead send them a little video in which we thank them in person, introduce the company, etc etc, different themes in different videos. With just 1.5 MB limit per video in SMS, this is impossible. It would be an absolute awesome addition to our client approach and make us stand out to competition as well.

  12. We have a group of staff that rotate on-call duties after hours. In the past they would setup IVR to allow customers to contact on-call in an emergency and that would ring to a message only extension. Then, we added everyone's cell to the notifications. Assign the RC contact to our phones, and assign a loud ringtone to be notified when someone had left a VM after hours, then they call them back. I am trying to assemble a solution that would allow them to use their personal cell phones and I'd be able to create call queues in rotating…

Customer called in and asked on how to log out his RC desktop app. The customer advised that he followed the instruction in support.ringcentral.com (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Log-Out-RingCentral-Phone-Desktop.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_Phone&language=en_US ), however, was not able to find the log-out button in Settings. Instead, we were able to find it in Display Picture (top -left of the app) then Sign-Out. Please update the article. Thank you!

With the new Co-Recipients feature for voicemails, especially for Message-Only Extensions, it would be beneficial for RingCentral to be able to turn on the Messages Light on the Poly VVX phones. This would provide a visual indicator that a message is waiting for staff that are not using any apps.
