  2. RingCentral would be able to sell more fax numbers by implementing this, because businesses would want a pool of phone numbers to send FROM. In our business (and I'm sure others), faxes often fail to send to the recipient (I think it's probably a bandwidth problem on the recipient side).Another possibility is that the businesses we're faxing (Credit Bureaus that want to work against us and our consumer clients) are blocking our phone numbers.Two Potential Implementations: 1.   3. We have several locations where there are multiple people sharing a classroom. We have a user assigned to the handset and have several presence users on the handset. They are able pickup a call to their extension but unable to use their extension to make a call. Caller ID shows the main user extension as the caller and that leads to confusion.

  4. Currently ringcentral uses "Superadmin" as a proxy-number to call any external forwarding numbers. I'd like this to be changed if possible as an option to select which "available number slot" would "you" like to be used to be displayed as an external forwarding number, or even some sort of a "name" behind the number as well.   5. You don't need to alert me to a "missed" call for those I intentionally sent to voicemail. Or at least give me a toggle that lets me choose if I want it to be listed as such.

  8. For larger organizations, it is impossible to remember everyone's extension. For transferring calls, we can simply press the button for the user we wish to transfer the call to, and with presence it will blind transfer to that user. This way we only need the name of who we are transferring to, not the extension.However, with intercom we must know the extension. That is impossible if you have more than a few extensions.   9. When you are leaving a VM there is an option to press # for more options. This brings up a female voice prompt with more instructions. We would like to be able to upload our own voice prompt for this. We have paid for a Voice over actor for all menus. but there is no ability to upload the Voice over actors voice prompt for this Menu

  10. During our testing with the RingCentral app it was determined that the service only installs as the user who installs it. In a floating desktop pool, this is a process which does not work well. Additionally, it requires the end user to install it during their session whereas it would be best to install this on the master image itself so all end users receive it. Can this be added as an install option?

We have texting disabled for all users currently (we have some Hipaa stuff to get through), there does not seem to be a message sent to someone who tries to text one of our users (phone numbers) that says the RingCentral number does not receive text messages at this time.a sender does not know if the text ever completed or did not complete.........in a business scenario this would be very helpful....

  13. other non admin users do post files to RC. These files are constantly being updated by other users and admins creating numerous verisons of the same file. Super admins should be able to go it and delete attached files and links at any time to help "clean up" current teams, files, links, etc.

We have the Yealink T46S, we have 5 numbers that can be called into at one time and our phones will only allow 2 at a time, if a third happens to call in , we would need to go to another office phone to be able to answer. Easier to keep track of calls and chances of missing calls will be decreased

  17. It would be useful to have CallerID name to be available in UK as well like in the US. As a business we want to make sure that out customer's are aware that we are calling them since they will see the Name of our business when we call them.

  19. We would like to have a company wide rule that we can set in the case of a company wide shutdown. This rule would allow all IVR and call queues to act like it's after normal business hours. Basically we would like a button that switches the system into after hours mode. Currently we have to go through and manually modify all IVR and call queues with reduced working hours.

  20. Disable all Manage file sharing until turned on by an ADMIN. Since this new app has 0 content examination end users can could sent what ever they wanted and get everyone in truck load of trouble. Since there is nothing in place currently which one of you are going to get hit with a major fine or data breach! If you are going to allow any kind of file sharing from your unified business platform there needs to be some kind of content exemption rules that can be put in play.
