Background:
We are trying to support full HUD capabilities on Mobile. Due the nature of presence APIs supported , the users on iOS mobile is not able to support call pick up alert for RC app in background or killed or on a locked iOS device. With only the presence API support Android OS devices can support the notifications for call pick up.
Proposed Solution:-
Platform can support start-ring event to alert for supporting the call pickup use cases. This will allow the the mThor to wake up a killed app or , an app in background or on a locked iOS device to have the call pickup alert.
The priority for HUD support is to support a) Presence Call pickup, b) BCA call pickup, c) Park location scenarios as priority. We will also consider supporting Call queue pickup and Group Call pickup as the next priorities if feasible.
