Hopefully this can be seriously looked at. In a business environment it is a necessity to know if a user has read a message. This is a standard will all current messaging applications.

This should be the norm. Having the presence status disappear does not make any sense in a business environment.

In order to see the user presence status you have to hover over the user's logo. This status should be visible all the time.
We have phones that are always connected. The device status in Ring Central says Online, but the User status on the Contact list says Offline. Users that have phone/sip only accounts should be able to grab it's status/online presence form the Device Status.
