When a staff member leaves and is replaced, the new person is assigned their predecessor's phone number and therefore inherits the old user's app settings, chat history, profile picture, etc. I would like an option for the admin to wipe the account clean before reassigning it. If possible, it would also be useful to have a way to archive any important items before wiping the account.

  3. Currently chat posts have to be fetched for each conversation. This takes a lot of time, and becomes even slower when behind a request queue to avoid rate-limiting issues.Please add support for batch requests for GetPosts, as well as any other endpoints that make sense to do so.

  5. While there isn't any current turnkey solution for this, a user could have the fax notification go to a mailbox that has after hours email rules and the auto reply email could come from there.

  6. We have a lot of location based 'users' aka "X-Ray Tech Area" but there is no actual email for this 'user' as multiple x-ray techs will be using this phone. In order to create a user, an email is required so generic emails are used, but these aren't always necessarily real emails or the correct emails. We'd like 'X-ray Tech Area' and their extension and external line to show in the directory, but not the generic email address used to activate the extension.

  7. We have multiple sites. We can change all of our site names except for our headquarters (which the account is tied to). Like to be able to change 'Main Site' name to our City location.

People in our office are working from home and from the office and when they're in the office, they want calls to ring on the Polycom phone and find it very distracting and inconvenient to have it ringing on their desktops. But they use the desktop app when they are working remotely, so they don't want to remove it from the queue entirely.

  9. When inputting a contact through app.ringcentral.com there is no option to add the person's extension without getting an error message. The only way to do this is to open the app on the phone where it will accept the extension by adding * and the number...but not on the web version.

  10. In the "All Calls" section, having a transferred calls section would be helpful. I answer incoming calls. Knowing what I have done with that call would be nice. I have to keep a monthly call log on paper as to who I transferred it to, if I hung up because it was a dead or sales call, wrong number, etc. In a perfect world I could type in an extension and see how many calls I transferred to that particular extension.

  11. I use a lot of different zaps with Glip. Manually adding users to each team is time consuming. I'd like to be able to assign users to groups and then assign those groups to each Team. That way I can add a new user to a group and have them automatically added to each team chats that that group is a member of.

  12. Currently, only the Corporate Directory is automatically integrated with the RingCentral account's Company directory. There should also be a way where the Contact Directory can be automatically integrated with the RingCentral account's Company directory as well, rather than having the users manually add in their contacts locally on the device.This would greatly benefit users because it'll save them from having to manually enter in each contact

  14. I have a call center where all phones ring simultaneously. There are known GOOD and BAD inbound calls. The bad ones get missed because the agents dont want to talk to them. We need the ability to block the Caller ID so all calls look the same

  20. Add the ability to configure specific numbers that would override the Do Not Disturb setting. Use case is for someone who is on call after hours for emergencies, who may want to set RingCentral to Do Not Disturb for general calls and messages but still needs to receive calls that are coming from the emergency dispatch number. Similar to what iPhone currently has where you can set the ability for a number to still come through as a call when your phone is in Do Not Disturb mode.
