  1. When on a audio call only, often users need to switch to a share screen mode or just start a video call or meeting. There is currently no option to do this.Users have to disconnect, create a meeting, email meeting data to user, or other painfully slow method to switch.

  2. This may be the largest user complaint. "how do I share my screen with someone?" Simply put a share screen option in the chat or teams next to the video and call button. People do NOT understand the video call will do the same thing.Make the share screen button auto start the share screen feature as well.Yes, this is basically coping Teams. But the lack of this ONE button drives ALL of my users to Teams.

  3. Please allow admin to restrict users in changing their outbound caller using App. We can create a custom role to restrict outbound caller id but is only applicable on admin portal and they are still able to change it using the app.

  7. Right now, desktop & mobile can not be added to ring groups so it is only beneficial if you want to let it ring on desktop/mobile first for sequential or if you are using a simultaneous setup. If it can be part of a custom group you can have it ring on desktop/mobile and say your yealink phone simultaneously before it forwards to another sequential option (ie. an answering service).

It would be fantastic if the new RingCentral App for Desktop would incorporate the same Plantronics/Poly headset integration that exists in the Phone app. Right now, when using a Plantronics headset, the modern Desktop app does not know how to handle button presses on the headset for answering/hanging up or muting/unmuting. All call controls have to be done from the app itself instead of allowing for headset control.

  10. I've had several scenarios where I needed to un-assign a particular number from a user and return it to our pool of available numbers. Currently, in order to complete that process, I have to:Create a temporary extension. > move the number to that temporary extension. > then delete the temporary extension.The process takes about 7 clicks too many. It seems like there should be an "un-assign extension" option that I can click in my options menu.

  11. I know we can forward fax to multiple users via email but what we would like to happen is to forward it to their RC inbox instead of the email. Scenario : Agent will login to his RC phone app, and from their he should be able to receive faxes from a different extension or call queue for ease of access. Thanks!

  13. Our client services department has consistent schedules throughout the week. It would be nice to be able to set a "working hours" period where users are automatically taken out of the queue. Or likewise, set an "away" period automatically for lunch periods, scheduled weekly meetings, and etc.

  14. They are very sensitive with Security concerns , they love the RC app client but needs a way to disable completely the App's integration icon and any app integration in all the RC app client.
