  1. Every time the customer receive calls, the Notes and Transcript box pops up. Need the option to permanently collapse the box if can't be removed/turned off.

    Feedback from kmishler@bpfilmsllc.com: "It does an abysmal job, and I want it gone. Please help me fix this because the addition of this is not ready for prime time."

  2. Company-Wide Disabling New feature tutorials for all users. Currently, this can be disabled but it can only be disabled per app/user. We need to have this option for company-wide disabling.

    Hi everyone-- for this particular feature (the new feature tutorials pop up that can be disabled on a per user basis within the app) it is possible to have it disabled account wide by our product managers. 


    Please have your account admin reach out to your CSM to escalate to our apps team to have this option turned off on your account. If your account does not have a CSM, please have your account admin escalate to support and support can escalate internally.

  3. Please allow the ability to pull from all the Global Address Lists in Office 365. The calendar and contacts Office 365 sync option was available in the old app, however it is not available in the new unified RC app. The setting must give us the ability to select from the list of all Global address lists from the Calendar and sync option.

  5. It would be helpful if the customer can change the Security question on the admin portal and no need to change the PIN and Password. Stand alone update for the Security Question will be really helpful.

  9. It is really annoying when I have to go in and add a comment "Adding Attachments" when I attach screenshots, logs, and other information. This is a great opportunity for an automated notification once an attachment is added so customers don't need to.

  10. I noticed that if I switch to the new view in the app, the fax icon disappears from the options on the left side of the page. I can still send a fax from the + options, but I can't figure out how to view sent or received faxes. This is fine for now, as I can turn off the new view, but I'm not sure how it will work once the new view becomes the only view, as I assume will eventually happen.

  12. In California, it is illegal to record a phone conversation. Can this be an option on the Admin Portal wherein we can disable the button on the RingCentral app?

  13. I recently had to fill out the bulk upload template and upload it. I had to repeat this several times as it did not work, but I was given no information to let me know they failed. Adding a feature where you receive an email letting you know the below would be greatly beneficial. How many users were createdHow many users failed to be createdReason why they failed

    When using the Add Users in Bulk template, the final step in the upload process includes a field where you can enter the email addresses of people to whom a confirmation should be sent. (The account's super admin receives this notification by default.) This confirmation email contains the number of users that were created and the number that were not created. The file attachment in the confirmation email will note the errors encountered on the respective lines of any records that were not successfully created during the file processing.
  14. As transferring calls can only be done by dialing the number on the second line of the desk phone or by "##+Extension #", this new idea was submitted to allow the presence feature of showing other extensions on the desk phone to be available as a transfer with just one-click process on the desk phone. Or similar feature to this.

    • Includes Overflow Call Queue: If a user is a member of both the main queue and the overflow call queue he/she should have the ability to see that there's an incoming call for the overflow call queue while he is in an active call.

    • Ability to take another incoming call from another call queue while in an active call from the first call queue.

    • This increases awareness of the user to cater longer waiting people on queue which will benefit the helpdesk that needs to filter calls by urgency.

  18. My clients are hard at work all hours of the night and day, and while our company does offer 24/7/365 customer service, I am not part of that team. I would like a way to block calls from the phone app during certain times so that I am not awoke at 5AM by my clients. I don't want to use the main DO NOT DISTURB setting on my phone because I don't want to block my family from calling in an emergency.
