  2. Please add more details on specific account changes for email notifications to the main super admin. For awareness of the main super admin, if changes are made in the account, he should be notified in detail, e.g. Ext 7003 reset his own password

  3. when customer's main number is set to forward calls to call queue, missed calls should still trigger an auto reply sms from the main number. currently, this only works if auto receptionist is set to forward calls to user extensions

  4. We would like to have the ability to set message (for RC Messages) to a user definable period (12 hours). Our current options are 30,60,90 days or perpetual. We want to be able to do this to dissuade people from using messages like email which greatly complicates public record requests when messages is used for non-transitory messaging. Having the ability to keep messages from lasting aligns it to transitory use very well.

  5. Please allow URL shorteners in SMS/MMS messages depending on the usage. Some customers need to use shorteners in order to send links to appointment sign-up sheets and landing pages for their clients. Currently, the only workaround indicated would be to use private/proprietary URL shorteners.

  6. The RingCentral App is very rich in settings.It would be great to have a "Reset settings to default" option to help in scenarios where users have changed many settings to the extent they cannot remember what changes were made and why the app is no longer working as it should.

  7. This would benefit not only the company but the person administering the phones. On a Cisco phone (88XX) there currently are two address books, a system address book which is not functional and a personal address book which is unique to each phone. In order to have a "company" list, we currently have to utilize the personal address book and manually enter each entry into each phone. If anything changes(additions, changes, deletions), we have to manually change it in each phone. This can be very time-consuming to manage but at present is the only way to get a company directory…

  12. The new feature to be able to more easily see the dial pad doesn't work. On my Windows PC, I cannot see the dial pad without this app being full screen (which is ridiculous) and when I get the cursor to grab what would normally be a bar for expanding or contracting a column it doesn't move anything.Make everything visible when the screen size is reduced.When I open the "Report an Issue" dialog box and complete the required question, the "Send" button is grayed out and has been grayed out since our company first rolled out this tool. I would like to suggest to the developer to carry over the feature from the old app for the host of the call to be able to disconnect other people on the other line when we are on a conference or merged call especially when we are 3 people on the line and we are done talking to one person and wanted to disconnect that line.   14. In Ring Central UC platform, there is a call recording feature available however recorded calls can be accessed by Individuals. There should be a option for Supervisor to listen the call recording We can create group and set Group Admin access to supervisor so they can listen calls.

We will on occasions change a template setting or apply template setting to a user who missed having a template setting assigned. the user gets an email and also a voicemail informing them of a security change which leads to concern and confusion. It would be great as an admin to push out the template and not have the user notified. We have the box unchecked to email the user but they still receive the message.

  18. We ran into an issue today with a RingGroup when called returned a message "phone is not online". After quite a bit of troubleshooting I found that a user had forwarded his desk phone to an invalid extension. This extension is at a remote site so all troubleshooting was done remotely. The Call Log shows "hang up" and the Performance log shows Ringing and then nothing.Since there is no insight to the status of deskphones from the portal it would be helpful if the call log and/or performance report would have shown the call trying to ring the invalid extension.

  19. In the tasks area of calendar creation there needs to have a customizeable time frame menu item. For instance, there is the ability to create a weekly repeat item, but if an item is bi-weekly or bi-monthly, there is no ability to address those types of repeat items. Also, if something needed to have a task scheduled for every other day instead of every day, other software allows every (2) days or however long the period between tasks, but RingCentral does not. Can this be changed to be further customizeable by the user?

Incoming caller ID should appear as what is save on the user contact list on the user desk phone display screen when the main number is being dialed.The actual behaviors is when the direct number of the user is being dialed the save contact is showing on the display screen.Note: the actual caller is added on the contact list
